Disagree, especially since they are so athletic and had an 11 point lead on us late in the game.

Eh i see what you’re saying
But had sengun and fvv played we would have lost

we didn't have og or mitch

He'll be back after the all star break. Why wouldn't they rest him until then?

Brunson did it again. Great game by towns as well. Good win on the road against a team that was hot and 2-0 without OG holding down the fort while he’s gone

Huk made Barnes his b*itch in the first half. Dude's got potential

So this was our last game before the trade deadline.

Sims' last game with the Knicks??? >1m off the bench, Thibs was savage... !! :P

HopelessKnick wrote:With Mitch being out the entire season so far, it is not comprehendable why Precious (and someone like Hukporti) have been playing so little. I said it many times---in our current situation Precious should be averaging 25+ minutes as the first big man off the bench.

I hope the increased heat has gotten to Thibs so that Precious playing more minutes and Hukporti getting some burn is going to be a regular thing. Hukporti's defense so far seems absolutely excellent and he does have a bit of touch on offense as well.

If you look at it this way:

KAT, Mitch, Precious, Hukporti --> our frontcourt situation is actually pretty solid. OG and Hart could, depending on matchups also play some 4.

Absolutely it's been proven again and again Thibs' bench (Deuce, IHart, Divo, Precious, Burks, etc) has always been pretty good, the major reason they "suck" is cuz he doesn't play them.

Hukporti is a rook with a history of serious injury. It might be a deliberate thing to bring him along cautiously and with patience.

I see the feet sliding on defense and violent movement style and can’t help think of that Achilles.

Our pups have been logging minutes in the g while working with the big club and observing the machine being built. They’ll get run in due time and be readier for it.

Precious also missed a lot of time with a hamstring injury and has been saying himself he is JUST feeling right in recent days. Deuce in a similar boat. Dadiet been hurt too despite calls for him to cover OG right now. What you want coach to do?
RIP magnumt

thanks for everything, thibs.

Might as well, unless he’s legit ready for Boston.

Jalen Brunson is so clutch, it's ridiculous. On consecutive nights, the Knicks needed buckets and I had no doubt that the Captain would make it happen.

Hukporti kinda reminds me of young Mitch on defense...a little jumpy, wants to block everything, but that's endearing and makes him fun to watch defend. I liked Huk's passes too.

Mikal and Josh have become reliable. They always produce.

KAT was pushing 20-15 before halftime. I'm a bit nervous about him not punishing small-ball lineups more often, but he cooks every traditional big that sees him.
