Only if you’re not the Knicks according to some!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I would LOVE to see a Lakers Mavs first round playoff matchup if both teams are healthy...would be absolutely epic...

Yeah i don't think anyone said that l. I don't think the Lakers are built to win this year. Next year is another story.

I did however say that the Mavericks are run by idiots and I stand by that. What they did is appalling.

It is funny the double standards some fans hold us to verse any other outside team we see from afar. It's the "grass is always greener" conundrum IMO.

It never gets brought up how we smacked a fully healthy Memphis team or a fully healthy Denver squad. How we've smacked the Bucks up twice and Indiana.

The Knicks may not be contenders in some fans eyes but we're WAY better off than like 90% of the league including the Lakers IMO.

I completely agree with everything except the bolded!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Nobody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And I mean nobody!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Is beating lebron&luka 4 times out of 7!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

At least Dallas will “save” money.

Luka's conditioning and drive lol

He just dragged the Mavs to the finals. Dallas probably gets bounced in Round 1 led by Kyrie and AD.

Ain't no one going to convince me that this wasn't self-sabotage or a Lakers' pick me up, because this trade will never make sense. I'm still haunted by one of Nico's quote about avoiding a tumultuous offseason. Like, WTF, you're afraid to do your job or something?

This trade made no sense, seems like the Lakers or NBA had some favors owed or the like to get a superstar BEFORE his prime, for and over 31 year old injury prone All Star, who got hurt in his first game. LOL! Just makes no sense in the normal business world.

And they went directly to a big market team with little assets (and got 1 of them)?
Yeah right. Luka would have gotten the best haul of all time.

Maybe some day we will find out why on a True Crimes show…

I watched their game last night. Their defense is insane. Wagner and Banchero really couldn’t create much against them. And the fact that they have Deandre Hunter and Ty Jerome off the bench is a cheat code. They are the biggest threat to the Celtics.

I haven't watched enough of em to validate my skepticism, but I question if Garland is a legit 1b to win it all. Prolly would have said the same thing about Brown last year so whatever. They're a really solid team.

Anything is possible with Bron and Luka on the same team. Golden State and LA are firmly back in the fold with their acquisitions.

My boys Jok and Brodie have their work cut out for them but my Nuggets are getting that chip this year!!!!

Greenie, they're tearing LaMelo up on the GB, it's a wonderful thread and my kind of party

2nd in Usage Rate
339th in True Shooting Percentage

336th in Net Rating
456th in Defensive Rating

1st in 3pt FGA/gm (11.7/gm)
143rd in 3pt FG% (33.6%)

3rd worst AST/TO of all starting PG's (just ahead of Ja Morant and Coby White)

Played 64% of games (on track for a 50 game season)
Hornets are 14-42, good for 14th in the Eastern Conference

In first year of a 5 year/$203M contract

Not sure either but they got two other 18 PPG scorers in Mobley and Hunter. So even if Garland doesn’t play that well, they got other scorers who can step it up. These mfs are loaded

Jeff Teague on Thibs:

"They need a break," said Teague on his Club 520 podcast. "Real talk. They need a break. They play everyday and for the whole game. They need a break.

"They are the first team that I'd say needs mandatory load management. And I love Thibs, but they need mandatory load management. They have a fire squad. I'm just praying they all get to the playoffs healthy."

I think no amount of the Mavericks leaking negative press and info on Luka is going to change our minds even by 0.1%. One of the worst trades of all time, if not the worst.

Everything they have been leaking to destroy Luka's reputation would have made some sense if AD was say 27-years old and had Bridges' like durability. But since AD is 32 years old and one of the league's most injury prone players...this transaction is literally free of any sense.

It's like trading Mitch and stating his injury history as a reason for the trade but then getting Mark Williams back in the deal.

That's fine if the Mavs didn't believe in Luka for the long-term... but don't sell him for pennies on the dollar because they could have easily gotten, you know, dollars on the dollar... talk about a case of negotiating against yourself.
