Celtics came to the game with a full court press through the whole game . Knicks need to find a solution for that. McBride looks so good. Brunson & Kat need to stop falling so much because it creates a 4 vs 5 fast break & easy buckets for teams, especially if The team likes to run. Knicks still can’t guard the 3pt line too well. It’s still early , new coach, new system . But Knicks win .

pretty solid win. We are clearly the best team in the East imo.

Boston was allowed to grab and shove pretty blatantly; Knicks weren't getting same liberties. Then Celtics got some soft fouls called for them for +1.
Saw some pretty obvious moving screens by the Celts not called. Knicks got rung up for some offensive fouls.
Just call the game the same both ways.

Also, KAT and JB get mauled with no calls on a level I've never seen for good players.

Then again, the NBA doesn't really call fouls on layups anymore unless someone is obviously hacked.
Which they've admitted is the case, so too many FTs "disrupt the flow"
Ok. Get rid of replay then too.

Crazy considering I look at boxscores and it seems every night we have guys shooting 15+ FTA in a game. Just last night Luka had 19 FTA, KD had 18, Zion 16.

Brunson had 16 games with double digit FTA last reg season, 7 games in the playoffs. KAT had double digit FTA 9 times in the reg season, 3 times in playoffs. And they get hacked as much as anyone.

Just for jokes SGA had 35 reg season games with double digit FTA. 11 games in the playoffs.

He also has that finger injury.

I just dunno why he doesn't get it fixed now and be a 100% come playoff time.
His hustle and rebounding are game changing for us, but if he shoots it like this in the playoffs....

Deuce was nice after rough start. love seeing him as a starter into these smaller, gunning opponents.

Josh, i appreciate it but get your finger right. what the hell is going on?? This is madness

Cap starting to get it in the 2nd half. Kat looked better as well.

Didnt check the numbers but pace looked insane, thats what we like to see.

You can tell we need more time and already coasting to wins, im not concerned at all. 15 games in we gonna run amok.

lets freaking go man what a time to be alive
im bout dat action boss

Prime FTW...

Was a good game. Yes, 2 games were we let our opponents back in but we weathered the storm. We let Bawwwston get back within I think 9 but we didn't fold. When they pushed, we answered with our own shots. Thibs teams would have blown that ****. Also, Thibs giving Celtics advice on what we did last year to beat them. Sorry Thibs apologists and their agendas... grab your ankles. Not sure if some folks even watch other games - blowing leads and swing of momentum is pretty normal these games.

What almost sunk this team was TO's. Way to many. Hart back - 2pts (1 of 9) but we all know that's not what he is about. He had 14 bounds with 6 being offensive. You can see him wincing in pain at the end of the game/towards end of 4th.

Didn't like that with under 5 mins we went back to Thib's iso ball. I get it, we have Mr. Clutch and he showed why. Again, shows they are not fully confirmable with the new system. Was also nice to see JB add 2 dimes at the end to Kat and Deuce in crunch time.

Team is still learning, and we 2 games into the regular season. Christ... Some of y'all must be so fun to sit at next to games...

Yes, no Huk. Brown ran small ball line up when Celtics started with all guard line up. With Hart being back, shoudn't have been a shock. Will say I love seeing large rotations and ADJUSTING to other teams line up. You there Thibs?

As we saying in racing - You run what you brung.

Yabu looked good in that 2nd quarter.

He set some solid screens and leveled someone on a screen who was guarding Brunson.
Kept a lot of offensive boards alive on taps.

And sure, he's moving a little sluggish but he plays smart, understands where to go, move the ball, set the good screen.

I think at some point fans will stop hating him. Probably in 50 games or so, since, well, Knicks fans.

A play I really enjoyed.
Kolek shoving that goon Queta when he tried to screen him as Pritchard (?) brought the ball up. Because that goon was shoving people all night.
Then Queta, of course, pushed Kolek who was fighting hard over the screen and Queta got the offensive foul.

Loved it. That's the stuff that will help keep Kolek in the lineup. Also, him crashing into the front row trying to get the steal.

He's never going to be really good. He looked like sh*t in the preseason. I'm going to call it like I see it when he does some solid stuff.

Needs to lose that weight and get back to last year's playing weight. It won't transform him but he'll look better.

Yet Knicks have least points given up in entire NBA (for teams that have played 2 games)

3 defense not perfect but a whole lot better than last year.
