Trust me the look on Mike's face was priceless, bump this at 8:30pm after we win. If we dont I wont post for an entire month...beautiful sight.

Mike's face? You mean Allan's face? Allan Houston will be sitting at the dais for us, not Mike D'Antoni.

His dreams are flawed!

I have to start at 4pm until whenever migrating a TD Bank branch over to new PCs for the CSRs and manager. If it gets done early, then I will be able to watch.

Congrats on the work.

When I used to work in IT, I would often have to move/upgrade networks. I would ALWAYS be on this site during the trade deadline/big rumors/pre-draft month.

That is soooooo f'n true. :P , I would always sneak at my BB or Laptop for updates when I can. The worst, is when you can't sometimes 'Cast' it (or Corporate wouldn't allow it), and have to do Updates manually one-by-one at each PC.

Few second and third picks but the 1st pick took 65 tries.

I want the second pick

Post#110 » by Bleedin' blue » Tue May 19, 2009 4:19 pm

If we get the number one I know we will go with Griffen, becasue he is a work horse and a special talent, but I see a guy like Kenyon Martin that will be a very decent player, yet only a small piece of a puzzle and not a game changer.

This team has NOTHING right now. Ok we have Gallo and Chandler who have potential. Gallo can be a as we have even seen game changer for us, and we need more of that. We need to take a chance on a kid that might actually be a franchise type player.

What happens if he busts? We still suck. If we get Lebron, it wont matter, if we dont get Lebron then we need game changers on this team, not guys like Martin.

I am sick and tired of the NBA's obsession with Power Fowards!

We need a freaking point guard.

griffin or rubio is a nice discussion point

but its not necessary as we will get the 8th pick...mediocrity leads to more mediocrity...in order to tank, it must be done from day 1

I did it until we got a Top 3 pick. It took me 24 tries and it was the number 1 pick.

Or Houston.

The thing is I dont see a Rose or Beasley Hype for any players in this draft. It figures we get the number one in a year that scouts consider this to be a weak draft.

Would anyone here trade for a number 1 next year and trade down a few spots? Its risky, but what are the reward possibilities?

This thread is so STUPID. How is Griffin a question mark but Rubio isn't? Amazing.

I want the first pick. I hope Wizards gets the second pick. After that, we can probably unload a bad contract, say Jeffries+first for Etan+second. Then we can use Jeffries' money to keep Lee. Later on S&T Nate for a 2010 pick.

I would think to myself, geez, we win the lottery and there isn't a legit franchise center this time.
