Iman after his injury hopefully won't be too different. For game sake let's say he returns to 90% of what he was, which is still pretty good. He has to learn patience on offense but he is a defensive nuisance… which is a good pairing with..
MGK, he will be very good on defense with Shump. I feel all your marbles are with him and if he pans out. If he does, your team may be in very good shape, if not you're a middle of the road Bucks type team.
Derrick Williams is a wildcard. He has played awful but may get some burn on your team and I think he'd be like, a lesser Michael Beasley type player.
DeAndre provides another player with good defense. Can't shoot FT, can't really score like crazy. Best case is he develops into a Chandler type force down the line for your team.
GG/SJax off the bench is a nice scoring punch for a starting lineup that will struggle to score some nights. Bonner may not be as effective when there are not many shooters to help spread the floor.
VC seems a strange fit on this team.
Timofey Mozgov is a solid big off the bench.
Tom Thib is a perfect coach for this team.
Anyone else?
Thanks for the writeup, much appreciated. Agree mostly with what you said. Just to clarify Carter is there just to add another vet to guide the young ones and bring them up(especially my wing players) and insurance for beginning of the season when Shump is still rusty. Also I feel Derrick Williams could definitely be better than Michael Beasley considering that he has his head on straight unlike Beasley.
