Hes made alot of trades, robbing teams blind (including us...)
has brought in ALOT of talented players
And he's truly done a great job..

However, you still see that team only fighting for a low playoff seed in the West
And I understand that with his young players, and new players you have to give him "time"
But he's been there since '07, at what point is he suppose to turn that team into a legit contender?

Eghh, maybe im hating..but with the amount of moves hes made, and the time hes had...i;d expect better tbh
:dontknow:

I do agree 6-7 seasons is a long time to not have that produict on the floor, but keep in mind when he got there he had T-mac's massive contract on the books and a couple other semi undesirables.

But Morey has been ready to get that franchise player for the last two years, and unfortunately no one will go there willingly, and I still dont see it happening, although the now have attractive pieces that may sway a player to go there.

So Morey has done his job in my eye which is be in position to get what is desired, and continue to stay there even when striking out.

They could have had both.

Woodson wants 4 shooters and one primary pick and roll big on the floor at all times. I think he would still elect to play Kmart and Birdman separately rather than together.

Birdman was too young for Grunnie.

lin a total no show today

harden at it again today, what a player

presti looking like a moron by the day, shouldve saved the dough for harden instead of giving long deals to role players like ibaka and perkins

and if he had to trade a star first, westbrook shouldve gone.

He's 34.

I honestly think the Knicks didn't look to sign Andersen because he was accused of pedophilia over the summer. Regardless if he came out innocent in the case, it tarnished the guy's image.

^^^ it was a joke

If anyone maybe they shoudl've signed Harden over Ibaka but I get why they did at the time. Bigs are way overvalued.

that makes sense, too. but...why hasn't presti ever won it? he had westbrook, ibaka, harden, and kd on the same team two years ago (and last year, but that's not important for my argument). this was before everyone thought they'd blow up / be good as quickly as they did / became. he had that team set for the present and future. just some food for thought.

He did but most of those moves didn't happen together in one year. They were draft picks in successive years (except for RW and Ibaka and even then it took awhile for Ibaka to develop) so it's difficult to give EOY for a draft pick in one year.

Right, bhe conversation at the time was who to sign Ibaka or Harden. Not sure why they haven't amnestied Perk.

I hate those types of calls. If Deron is allowed to bang into Tucker while posting up, Tucker should be able to bang right back and hold his ground.

Ibaka is not overpaid. He hasn't even reached his ceiling yet and he's one of the best defensive big men in the game. On top of that he's been adding wrinkles to his offensive game, which includes a pretty decent mid range jumper.

Age makes a difference in terms of your market value. Do you consider Tyson overpaid at 14mm-15mm?
