The laws of physics cannot be broken. Weigh a ton and jump so high, come down on your cartilage and it will break. This is the beginning of a process that will continue over time.

It's sad because Zion seems like a nice guy, but RJ may be outscoring him before long if he has to limit his athleticism to preserve his legs.

Julius Randles contract looks like a steal right now. I don’t wanna hear anybody complain about it anymore.

He got benched in SL after Mitch swatted a few shots. I didn't think it was that he felt bad his shot was blocked - he had put on weight and his knees were sore. Now, a couple of months later, before the season even starts, and it's even worse.

I agree - he was so exciting and lots of folks predicted he'd be the next guy to approach LBJ level. This is very sad if this is what's happening.

There are certain body types that can't hold up that long in the NBA. Yao Ming's feet kept breaking. He was too tall. Everybody says a player over 7'3" really can't hold up well. And now, maybe we're seeing that a widebody like Zion also can't stand the day-to-day pounding of the NBA. I will hope I'm wrong and that he can recover fully to have a great career. But it doesn't seem certain to happen.

Man that Sabonis deal is horrible. He can't protect the rim or shoot. He got exposed in the playoffs. That contract is gonna look bad in a year. Randle is so much better than him and we got him on a way better contract.

Not sure what Ainge is thinking with that Brown contract. I like Brown a lot but that's a huge overpay.

Knicks would have the All Injury Team if we gotten them 3. This offseason really might've been a blessing in disguise.

I feel bad for Zion though because he's so good. Would hate to see another Greg Oden situation

And we still haven't seen KP take that next step after joining the Mavs.

We shouldn't complain that much - we may have dodged 3 bullets in the past several months.

I'd make it 4, because I think Kyrie is kind of mentally impaired and wouldn't survive NY (maybe Brooklyn, with its lesser following, will be ok for him).

Suns paid Kelly Oubre 30 mil for 2 years

I take that over Jaylen Brown 100 out of 100 times
DENVER NUGGETS
Jamal Murray/Ty Jerome/Dante Exum
Zach Lavine/Ayo Dosunmu/Corey Kispert
Aaron Gordon/Harrison Barnes/Isaac Okoro
Jakob Poeltl/Moussa Diabate/Karlo Matkovic

I'm not a doctor but believe this means Zion is losing cartilage in his knee. Cartilage is the cushion that prevents arthritis. At some point you lose enough cartilage and you have an arthritic knee.

So I guess Zion is Randle without hops.
