because a set judging process hasnt been set in place, we resort to peer judging. have the rule be that unless you post your judging results, you cannot participate, as head gm, in the next bat

ive had mine for a while. but im waiting for someone with enough sense to address my suggestion, which should be taken into consideration after all th nonsense that has taken place since we have finished.

i still think all peer judging results should be sent to one person by a certain date, then they post them all at once. may not prevent the bitching that takes place, but will prevent new vendettas

Posted my rankings in the results thread. It was a pain in the ass to read through the rosters thread. Sorry to disappoint anyone with my picks. You are all winners in my book.

Nuggets, Pacers, Jazz, and Mavericks were my favorite teams.

I thought we were sticking with the top 5 in the 5 categories. If anything, I'd say we could start working on a judging system for BAT 9.0 now.

I decided to voice my opinion on the judging of late because of the other GM's who voiced their issues with it. Compounded by my personal feelings on how the judging has gone thus far. However, if the MAJORITY of GM's want the process to remain as presently constructed- so be it. Any of you are encouraged to reach out to the group and find out where everyone stands. This is a critical week for me, not sure when I will have the time to contact everyone.

With that said, I take the responsibility as commissioner very seriously and it is my job to make sure this Bat is FAIR...

I think it's way too late in the game to try to steer the ship another direction and figure out another judging system. The regular season is about to start. People built their teams and pimped them out. There isn't much else to do. If only 5 or so owners end up judging, then we'll tally up the scores for what we have. I judged because I much rather get this done than complain that we could still have a better judging system and drag it any longer than it needs to be dragged.

Thank you for voicing your position as a GM. I need to hear what the REMAINING GM's think now. Once that happens then we can move forward :D If you want the process to be expedited, contact all of the GM's and get their feeling on things. As I explained in my last post I won't have time until possibly the end of next week.

i think it should be since most guys aren't around anymore. think BAT 9 is where we should do the new judging system because we should all be around to vote on it

Guys are never around regardless. And when we had judges, they were never around either. No one wants to judge because everyone is lazy.

It's a bitch when everything isn't organized, but that's no excuse. We've all been busy, but at some point some time pops up. Everyone is quick to bitch about being ranked or not being ranked, quick to want to talk trades or quick to jump on free agents.

I'm Sorry that I haven't been able to participate as I usually would, I didn't even know if I was going to make it through this thing. But I will say this though, I have one hell of a fantasy team ...
