DWill misses a wide open jumper to tie the game. Trade Melo for him though, right D'antoni.

Aldridge is really good and right now he's in the sweet spot of his playing career. We'd be very very lucky to grab a player like that judging by who we are and what we are. Hell all we have is money to offer him and less money at that.

Him and Melo though. Break that down for me. I like when you talk basketball boo.

There's two sides of the court.. A good coach knows this. Put Aldridge on one side and put Melo on the other. You could also run pick and pop to death with Melo handling the ball and Aldridge setting screens. Throw in a healthy amount of slashers and guards that can get to the cup and the offense is taken care of.

Aldridge is an extremely unselfish player. He shoots the ball a lot because Portland needs him too and because he has to carry the offense he can't really afford to pick and choose where those shots come from and he also has worked on his craft enough that he can make a lot of tough shots.

You'd basically have two guys who can hit a lot of tough shots and you know what happens when you put those two together? One guys looks gets easier. If you think about it most of Amar'e's buckets were of the easy variety.. they were either around the rim or open J's. So you can't really compare LMA/Melo to Melo/Stat.

Could have easily been 1-1 or 2-0 in their favor. The Hawks won more than 20 more games than them, but the difference doesn't look that big in the playoffs. Lebron would make short work of them

Don't forget that LMA can do something that the Knicks never do...REBOUND!!

Yea, I wouldn't be surprise if the Hawks get knocked out in the second round by the Wizards if they get pass the Raps.
