I would question Suggs' durability if he hadn't been a four star football recruit.. which I think Lebron was. They are just naturally going to be more durable and have a higher threshold for pain.

Otherwise, Suggs can operate in his own areas of the court which is the top and penetrating the paint. Suggs projects to be a better 3pt shooter than Cade does also so he's fine playing off the ball the way he did last night in the 2nd half. Suggs is also a better defender he can defend on ball and apply pressure at the top of the key and he's good at anticipating where the ball is going to be passed so he's quick on rotations.

But when you get into the intangibles is where Suggs really impresses me more than Cunningham. Suggs brings a toughness and intensity with his game that I think we haven't had in a long time. I've been looking for flaws in his game which I'm sure once he faces some more adversity but so far I haven't found one. I guess maybe they say he's cocky or whatever.. but that's only an issue if you can't perform.

Compelling argument from the Suggs side. Looking forward to those two being critiqued and compared as the season continues on.

Last i saw from Suggs was him being helped off the court a couple of nights ago and heard the commentator say they just hope it's not his Achilles. So i'm guessing he's okay??

Couple nights ago? Wasn’t that last night?
He came back into the game later on

Is it me or is this draft feeling a little less special than it was a week ago?

I think the perfect way to sum up Suggs is he is an "engine"

Not impressed at all whatsoever

I feel that way about Boston, but I like what I've seen from Mobley so far. He has shown plus offensive feel (offensive awareness/passing) that I didn't see in someone like Wiseman, but there are certain limitations that I'm noticing and I'm wondering how much of a factor those actually are when I go to project his impact at the NBA level.

No way is this kid on Wiseman's level. Wiseman would come down the lane and just carve out so much space and he was a beast on the glass. This dude looks thin and soft and his motor looks awful, he moves around so slow.

I’ve been saying for months that Mobley is mad overrated. If we’re going to replace Mitch, we should’ve traded him for Wiseman. Mobley is barely an upgrade over Mitch

I think it depends on how the kids in the G league look. That's where this whole draft can swing from awesome to meh. If Green and Kuminga look like stars that will make the draft way deeper cuz Cade and Suggs look real good. Same goes for the kid from Duke and Stanford too. Maybe they're not stars but look like they're gonna be good players. If the UK kids turn it around that would make for a pretty deep top 10.

He can shoot and spread the floor, that makes him a huge upgrade and valuable in the NBA. And better fit with players like RJ Barrett and Obi Toppin. Gets blocks as well.

Deep class but I would trade up for Cade, Suggs or Green.

Was listening to Sam Veceine Podcast. The top of this draft is special. Especially Cade The game comes easy to him and he's so smooth.

It's a season to do everything we can to get Cade or Scuggs. The team changes immediately with them.

I think you got it twisted whomever we take will most likely be the best player on our team. So Rj and Obi better fit with them not the other way around.

Well, a week ago we were all saying "It's special down to 8 or 12"

Now, it's like a lot of drafts, theoretically, where "Yeah, get that top 3 pick, looking good!"

Knicks only get the #3 pick in a 2 person draft. :D

it's a 2 person draft if you are committed to drafting a PG, maybe even a 1 person draft since cade hasn't proven that he can be a PG, but the knicks probably aren't committed to that, if the prior draft is any indication

Return to New York Knicks
