Which should make him cheap.....

He sucks right now, but I am not going to lie, I want to kick the tires with him here to leave no doubt that he sucks prior to FA. If he even looks remotely ok, that makes the Knicks job in both the draft, and free agency a lot easier.

Cause as much as he sucks he has to be on their FA board just due to lack of depth this FA in regards to PG.

Oubre doesn't strike me as the linchpin to the BI-Zion pairing.

the 21 percent from 3 he's shooting is probably not gonna give them more room to operate

Trying to figure out if that failure validates spacing (BI is shooting well from deep isn't he) or is more about some other problems that are related to spacing but are maybe also just style.

Zion's D may be an unfixable problem, but I'm not that sure the way he gets his points is great. Spoiler since it's poorly expressed, but something feels limited about Zion despite the tools and great efficiency.
Spoiler:
He's kind of like Okafor isn't he, a little too much -- not tons of postups and Zion can face up and score, but his game is a little too narrow in where he plays. And he's just not really above the rim or tall/versatile.

I wouldn’t mind kicking the tires on reddick

quickley-reddick-RJ-randle-mitch

I go back and forth on if RJ has a better advantage at the 2 or 3.

Pelicans have like ten million 1sts just give up the worst of them and call it a day. Not that hard

The Thunder aren't fair. If the season ended today they'd have three shots at a top 4 pick between Miami's and their pick swap option with Houston. Plus SGA and several other promising pieces.

Beal is good, but would cost a lot and has not lead WAS anywhere. Would it really move the needle once you factor in what we'd have to give up?

Nope . But some contender (Lakers?) will get him and give up little more than scraps.

Oh I wouldn't touch Beal. He can't win games win the Wizards what makes us think we should trade all our assets for him and we would start winning with him here.

He probably will go to Miami with some kind of package of Herro + going to Washington is my guess.

It's because actually, despite the better record, we're the worst team in the NBA.

He's an intelligent player, a guy that contenders can still use. Obviously not us though.
