NO saving a lot of money...maybe to resign Lonzo

I think they'll make a crazy offer for Lowry, they are gonna be desperate to get Zion to the playoffs.

wonder if Lowry would even consider going there unless they overpay by a lot?

Griffin got them the cap space to overpay by a lot

I'm tired of the high taxes narrative. Lebron went from Miami to Los Angeles. Harden went from Houston to Brooklyn. Kawhi asked out of San Antonio and eventually signed in Los Angeles. Durant OKC to Golden State. Lebron didn't sign with the Heat in 2010 for no state income tax, it was to play with Dwayne Wade.

Could they do a Lowery/DeRozan reteam?

On the low idk. Taking on salary was the best move for the Knicks to get higher in the draft. All these other teams want win now players and we can’t help them with that until S&T become an option after the draft.

Kings supposedly want to dump Buddy Hield’s contract. Maybe Hield and #9 for Knox and #19?

The Pels unload two bad contracts opening up cap space to retain Lonzo or add another FA while also adding one of the few good inside-out rebounding stretch big men who gave Jokic fits in the playoffs just for moving down 7 spots in the draft? Pretty good asset management.

They will add more pieces but **** that is a horrible trade for the Grizzlies. Who do they like enough to take on all that salary?

Morant/Melton/Jones
Brooks/G.Allen
Giddey/Bane
Clarke/
JJJ/Tillman

It's a really promising young rotation with all players 25 years old or younger.

Memphis and OKC are smart teams tanking, getting young players, getting picks and making deals.

Knicks d*cking around with Randle and Robot RJ and Scott Perry's 1 year wonders.

Berman trying to put his idiotic spin on how players in Cleveland were "frustrated" with Sexton.

Doesn't matter, Knicks not getting him anyway.

This. Knicks are never that lucky/well managed to capitalize on getting a young player with potential to slip thru the cracks to them

What's seems clear is that no one knows what the team is planning. I just hope that they do. We'll find out more on Thursday.

If we made that deal, there would be rioting in the streets around 7th Ave and 32nd St.

Bledsoe and Adams are about the same level of talent as Randle so I don't really get this take.

THey're not bad players, but their contracts are far too large and would seal us into mediocrity for another few more years.

I just hope that we're pleasantly surprised with whatever they pull off. It's almost time to put up or shut up with some of the assets the team has. These assets all have a nearing expiration date. I hope they're used wisely and flexibility is a continuing theme if they can't hit whatever homeruns they are planning. Whatever they do, I just hope they don't paint themselves in a corner.

The only objects Scott Perry thinks are shiny are Noah Vonleh, Emmanuel Mudiay and Mario Herzonja. And the shiniest of them all, Elfrid Payton.

How bout some D.Derozan? I actually think he's underrated on here by many and think if the guy could just shoot the 3 ball at a 35-37% rate that he'd be great for us.
