on the other hand I saw him also make some strong reads on defense. I noted how he kept his feet when a smaller guy tried to juke Sims and penetrate

He's raw as heck. Sometimes he looks away from the action, but other times he makes the right instinctive rotation on both ends of the court

He's not as talented as Mitch on defense, but he has good physical tools to be a bruiser who moves well

I loved seeing Alen and Wally laughing about how bad the point guard situation was for so long and how good it is now with Kemba and DRose. They don't have to pretend that an a$$hole is a decent starter at the point. I feel so much better. Best offseason in 2 decades.

Guys I may be over reacting here, but I think we’re a legitimate contending team if Kemba can stay healthy. Our firepower, depth, and defense is too much for any team. Obviously we’re no match for Brooklyn; unless one of them are injured. But I think we can compete with any team in the NBA in a 7 game series. I’m way ahead of myself, but the team we have has me believing we can do major things.

It’s not just the offense we improved on, it’s the chemistry and players knowing their role.

Like I said if Kemba is healthy, I truly believe we can be this year Suns. Probably won’t go nearly as far. But man I’m excited to see the grind of this team every night.
