Randle/Obi needs to be our frontcourt whenever a team doesn't have a physically imposing center.

obi's rim protection looks a lot beter and he hit a key 3 that mitch/noel wouldn't have taken. and then randle was able to get the shot he wanted for the game winner without getting doubled

We should have done it against the Hawks, it's such an obvious way to play them together and helps the offense and we ramp up team speed on defense. I think Grimes is important to that because you can't do this with a small SG at the 2 either, you need size at the other positions outside of C to pull it off.

With the Obi/Randle frontcourt lineup you can't play IQ with it, just giving up too much size. Burks or Grimes, I'd go with Grimes just cause he's most likely going to be a better defender than Burks.

What you like about Obi is that he's everywhere. His D is not a problem, it's actually a potential bonus.

You guys are doing way too much planning around a pairing that should only happen if everything else went wrong. We have 3 perfectly good rim protecting Cs who have played C thier whole lives. That's the type of players I like playing C....guys who've played C thier whole lives. (Taj being the one exception)

I like the versatility with this lineup

We have speed, spacing and creativity as well as getting the big out of the paint. We should use this pretty much anytime a team doesn't have a Jokic, Ayton or Embiid type center.
