There's been player coach confrontations on the sideline since the inception of professional sports. And yes, Lebron and similar players have did similar things to the coaching staff. Now you can argue that those guys "earned it" (the right to disrespect the coaching staff in the same manner that Randle did) but then again what does that even mean right? Disrespect is disrespect, wrong is wrong. Randle was absolutely wrong in that situation but he's not the only guy that's ever done that by any means. It just so happens the media has him under a spotlight and anything he does will worm its way up to the sunlight. Randle for his part should know that and be smarter. But that doesn't mean anyone else (Lebron, KD or any of those guys) going off and trying to clown his coach should get a pass.

Lebron shoulder-checked spoelstra in the middle of a game, what has Randle done that's worse than that?
Played for the Knicks.

Hmm ... instances from 1980 to 2021 ... yes, super rare. This one is squarely on you.

You're confusing how long events have been happening with how OFTEN they happen.

You don't know what rare means :rofl2:

Every week there is a new concerning video featuring him. I wanna see how his apologists defend this.

Lip-reading, I believe that as Julius flips the lid of the laptop he's saying, "Take that for data."

By this logic, Shenmue is a super common game

I mean, there are instances of it from 1999 to 2019

Can't be that rare.

I do. You don't know how often players argue with coaches in the nba. It is not rare. It's barely infrequent.

Is once a year rare? We can play semantics all you want. You won't win it. If you haven't seen a player fight with a coach prior to this you don't really follow the league.

Doesn't seem so. You're talking the video game, TV series, etc?

Berman: "Coach Thibs - we noticed you didn't call a timeout with 15 seconds left down 1 even though you had a time out. Care to comment?"

If that makes Julius a nutcase, we should all be locked up

How dare you! Julius could start filling the Garden with mustard gas before each game & still not be anywhere near as toxic as we are
