According to Windhorst Charlotte was prepared to attach a 1st to get rid of Hayward, now they just get to swap players to fill a 20pt 10 rebound void in their starting lineup.

I think NY wants to get rid of Julius, but what I know for sure is Leon Rose doesn't want to just give him away. Knicks get a player they were interested in(meaning Thibs had signed off on Hayward), who's on a shorter contract, and who clears the way for Obi at PF.

I'm not going to pretend to know alot about Toronto, but he seems to be part of their young core. He's a plus defender, has become an efficient scorer and can play and guard the 2 and 3. If we can get him for a few 1sts, then that would be a steal.
