edit: then the cavs will have 2 days rest when they play the knicks on the 2nd night of a back to back. maybe the logic is those disadvantages even out over the season? still stupid to me.

I find it unsettling anyway that the Pistons beat them.

I hope Detroit somehow faces them. If they stay in the first seed , Detroit can see them second round if they advance.

I no zero about him. Less about how Memphis runs. Hit pieces coming out now. Ja wasn't happy with the offense. Wasn't their offense respectable? Sounding like it was Ja or him?

Posted that cause they have a bad record against winning teams lately.

Same but what I'm hearing they really like their assistant coach and were worried he would get a head coaching gig this summer so they made this move to keep him.

Sounds like mutiny to me. I would believe Ja was not happy and possibly other players. I think I read the asst and Jenkins had disagreements as well. Seems like he lost the locker room from outside looking in to me. Winning records can be fools gold in a certain respect. We have the same problem here actually.

Tbh, I wouldn't know what's going on there. Everything I've read is speculation.

But we most definitely don't have a mutiny going on here unless we're talking about the fans. Cause the team is still playing hard for thibs. And the FO has been quick to move anyone that comes at him. The only thing this season we've heard is mikal wanting shamet to get some more run. Nothing really changed as a result of it.

6'2" in the post? Maybe if this were 1957 and Cousy was MVP I could have been nasty, yall would be talking about my numbers saying I was going against plumbers and mailmen though.

I don't think we have a mutiny going on here. I think we have the same problems beating the good teams. 11-18 or whatever against .500 and above teams. The winning record we have does have flaws.

Too late to be a swash buckling ocean pirate, too soon to be a brash, charismatic space pirate. Just in time to pirate the NBA. Such is life.

Since “the complaint” let’s call it, in the 9 games since, Shamet has played 19.9 MPG. He averaged 11.8 MPG in January and 12.0 in February. So you can safely assume that Mikal got him 8 extra minutes a game in the rotation

There were a lot of games where he was getting single digit minutes every night now he gets a steady 20

Then again this could just be a product of the injuries

I even think Cleveland is more likely to choke in the first round than we are.

Maybe but they're also winning while trying to lose. They've won close games where they benched starters like Barnes Poeltl and IQ in the last 5 minutes and bench guys went on to win anyway. Pro tankers on their board are livid whenever it happens

LaMelo back in the lottery and surgeons office, tough times if you're a fan of bum PGs who post empty stats.

Embiid, PG13 and Maxey are all scheduled to return once Philly secures a lottery pick.

Return to New York Knicks
