But it's really extra big when Mitch can get a dunk here or there ... Utah's offense uses Rudy a ton for dunks and it is actually a key part of their offense
I laughed off the idea of looking for Mitch ... but I think his couple of dunks played a huge part in the game ... if he's scoring just a little, it's a game changer
Can't throw Mitch the ball unless its a lob and Mitch is actually expecting it. Otherwise its a turnover. There was that one play where JB drove right, had Mitch underneath, and JB slipped Mitch the pass which he actually caught and it still got poked out of his hands instantly. Richard Jefferson was saying on the telecast that JB had to go up with that shot and just let Mitch get it off the rim for a put back as oppose to trying to pass the ball.
Then there are a ton of plays throughout the playoffs where the team kept looking to dump Mitch the ball for a dunk and the result was a turnover. I think a lot of it has to do with conditioning. He seems a bit too winded to be thinking about catching lobs and can only focus on boxing out and grabbing boards.
