Come on man, its clearly a non-updated section. Since we were doing 2012 draft picks, that should be 2012 draft picks and guys who played last year. You're a vet in this, you should know that. Just repick, you know Mirotic would've been gone way before if he was eligible.

yeah, i know i needed some defense which is why i grabbed him. like you and LJ said, if he can remain healthy, JJ can guard all 5 positions, so i at least wanted to grab him.

my frontcourt defense is fine with Camby, Seraphin and JJ.

Roy is a lockdown, but for how many years is the question. collison and vasquez are both average defenders (collison only having quickness advantage, vasquez having height and size advantage). martin is a poor defender. so addressing that is something i need to look at for the future

The question is whether we want to go by the letter of the rules or the intent behind it. It looks like when The rules were originally copied it was not updated so that any reference to 2011 was changed to 2012 as it should have been. So in that sense, yes, kf20 is right, the rules as posted allows it. It obviously was meant to mean 2012 Draft instead. I'm ok with letting him keep it. Okur otoh I don't believe qualifies even with the unupdated, copied rules.

Great Vucevic pick. Had great numbers in limited minutes and has a lot of offensive skill.

because i know Kneega is lazy at times and kneega just copied and pasted without checking the year. doesnt make sense to have 2 Years of Draft classes be considered Rookies. if we are playing that way then i guess 2012 Rookies dont count because the Rules really said nothing about 2012 Draft picks being allowed.

"Lazy" ? come on bro- what r u talking about? First of all, I didn't post the rules initially. 2nd of all you cant be "lazy", live life, work, and run this draft. It's almost impossible  Besides, I mentioned that my brother and sister who I haven't seen in years flew in- remember? the ones that I got from the airport?

Ive updated the spreadsheet, trades, players, emailed guys consistently, etc... and I love it! but bro- "Lazy" stooop pls....

OK- now on to the issue....let me go and check the rules....

Sorry man. I think he's best to be adjusted to the NBA slowly (especially on defense where he is weak). Thats why hes not in my rotation.

moocow007 wrote:Shved looked pretty good in the Olympics. In fact David Blatt (head coach of the Russian team) actually went with Shved as their go to guy by the time the Olympic games wound down. And I believe Shved paid Blatt back for it by scoring 25 points to lead the Russian team to a win against Argentina for the Bronze. So great pick.

Would have been the same with Motiejunas...the Lithuanian team would have been much better had he been able to play but because he was not able to sign his contract with the Rockets until well after the Lithuanian team had been selected and practiced he decided to not to be part of it. Would have helped the Lithuanians tremendously especially that one game against the US team given Motiejunas shooting and posting ability especially against the short-ish US team.

Yeah I actually saw that game. He always had some flash to his game, but I was really impressed by his shooting ability which I believe was questioned before. Read some reports saying he has improved his game, so at this point had to be a good pick.

yeah, kneega had nothing to do with the rules. i think this BAT was started a bit too hastily, but irregardless, kneega is not to blame anyway. it was a minor mistake at that, and this is really only the first case (glad it happened this late, and not early on).

kneega deserves a long ass vacation after this lol

Even though I didn't post or set this up initially- no one is perfect and bro, when someone takes their time to do something (Fury) you focus on their effort. So Fury- again, thank you! If you didn't start this draft who knows when we would have started it....

Td, lets just move on- water under the bridge and can we all enjoy the rest of the draft?

Anybody else feel that 2012 draftees made a whole lot of other players drop so much. Just comparing it to last BAT, it's kinda crazy.

on the orlando board, so many of the 2012 draftees were going left and right, which made it SO easy. everyone was all, "build for future" gung ho, so my team, despite not making my first 2 picks on time, was one of the better ones.

our board is better with not going after them, but it has helped a bunch of players drop
