Not to say I told you so -- but I told you so. What was "He should just try it, why not" has already become "He has a mental problem because he's not scoring enough."
He's biding time, he's learning, he's a controlled player. This is exactly why I say "Nah" to any rallying cry that he should look for his offense more. Because it's basically a slippery slope to a lot of dissatisfaction that is pretty irrational.

The biggest way to Illustrate that its mental with him, and not the ability is this. He is practicing moves, that he won't/rarely attempt in a game.
