“I’m a fan of Ighodaro because of his skill level,” an NBA scout told HoopsHype. “He doesn’t shoot it, but you can put him in a short roll and he’s really good. He can catch it at the top of the key and get to that floater he has or spray the ball to shooters.”

“Ighodaro can really pass the ball to connect your offense,” an NBA scout told HoopsHype. “It’s similar to the passing from Draymond Green with skip passes. He can defend and is athletic, but he can’t shoot. He was on my radar last year. I’m surprised he didn’t test the waters last year.”

Or thy just go with BPA. Johnny Furpy.

A couple other guys that may be able to contribute and that has the type of versatility that I sense this Knicks regime looks for are Ajay Mitchell and Jalen Bridges. Bridges has a an NBA body and athleticism for a 3D, is a senior and shot 43% from deep. Mitchell has shown the ability to create shot opps for teammates, deft ball skills and great feel.

this is what the league wanted by moving the draft for 2 days...2nd round was like 2 mins a pick and teams couldn't make any decisions.

Furphy seems soft as charmin to me. I don’t think he makes it in the nba as a rotation guy on a winning team.

Honestly Griffin just didn’t have an NBA level game and mindset.

Is that true? I remember like 3 seasons ago he had that nice surge as I guess a rookie. Can’t believe that’s all they got for him. Not even a good 2nd.

He’s a young guy. And he actually does play with good intensity. The problem is that he’s not strong enough physically and his game needs some refinement (he was relatively late to basketball). Maybe send him back home to play on the Aussie league to develop. The talent is there as is the intelligence.

I feel bad for Bronny. Whoever takes him also gets the circus cause of his diva father. This kid is being set up to fail.

I'm super glad the Knicks traded the first round pick for FIVE second rounders. Look at all the conversation the second round picks have generated. Just plug up the gap years from the latest trade and the Knicks are good.

I think the protections on those 2nd rounders will make them meaningless, much like the Wizards and Pistons 1sts we have.
Thank you, Rick Brunson.
