It seems like the Yankees have mentally given up or that Boone is that horrible as a manager. In either case you'd have to think Cashman is thinking about firing his analytics puppet, if only to take the heat off himself.

Even normal teams fire the manager when the team goes into a nose dive. Which is what the Yankees have been in for about a month.

whelp, I posted this when I saw Luke Weaver in during the 7th inning.

I wonder when they're going to stop disrespecting Luke Weaver. He's been here the longest and he doesn't choke. He has one bad stretch after coming back from the injury and then he gets relegated to 7th inning duty. Boone has also played favorites with Clay Holmes and now Devin Williams, and it's gross. We can't even blame the Yankee stadium crowd for Devin Williams...man is just a choker.

Also, I'm starting to think that maybe the Yankees analytics department or Matt Blake is overrated. This is ridiculous.
