RT @TheKnicksWall: If the #Knicks don't match Lin's deal, Iman Shumpert will be the only player on the roster under the age of 25.

That's just wrong in so many ways.

Knicks have been doing everything in their power in the last couple of years to alienate as many of their fans as they can manage.
Pursuing Felton instead of Lin would be one of the most knuckleheaded move in the history of the NBA.

i really hope it doesn't happen.

Yes, I can see Felton and Lin starting together. Kidd and JR off the bench.

Lin coming from a teared meniscus injury wont be save to push him to drive and run like crazy every night; instead of that we can use him more as a facilitator and spot-up shooter at SG...

Felton/Kidd/Prigioni/Lin
Lin/JR/Shump/Kidd
Melo/White/Artest/JR
Amar'e/Novak/Thomas/Melo
Chandler/Camby/Amar'e/Thomas

=> and still one spot left to fill in during the season or come training camp time!!

Guys, that last Isola tweet saying it means the end of Lin was totally fake.

@FisolaNYDN report of felton deal... he will get 3 years 10 million w Kurt thomas. Seems clear now that Lin is a goner..#Knicks

I just checked and that was nowhere to be found. Only the one where he mentions "Crazy Eyes and 6 hard fouls"

Can we stop with the fake tweets please!!

even without lin NY is gonna have a tax bill to pay

NY needs to keep all revenue avenues open, just on a business perspective I believe they keep lin

Well... they've got Blake Griffin and noone else, we have Melo and Amare.

Lin needs the ball, Felton needs the ball, Smith needs the ball, Anthony needs the ball, Amare needs the ball.. and only Felton and Melo, maybe Smith if he's on meth, can defend properly...

Bringing back Lin would be a HUGE MISTAKE, not just for the tax problem and all this thing, but also for the team, we'd be awful with that backcourt.

We're fine with Felton, Kidd, Prigioni, Shumpert, Smith, Diebler... they can play with each other, can play with Melo and Amare, the team is well balanced AT LEAST... just don't bring Lin back, we'll be awful.

As far as a backup goes, Fatty is good I guess. He can be an elite backup.

You must not have seen the posts begging us to let Lin go and calling him trash. I envy you.

And you must have selective eyesight because there has always been a large contingent of fans here that want Lin back.

I never said there wasn't. ??

Vet min.

Maybe the Clippers would accept Felton for CP3 because his contract is cheap.

Also, I don't understand about how any Knick fan could be happy about not matching Lin. It's not your money. Doing so or not doing so won't make a penny's difference in our ability to sign someone else. The decision is either having a 23-year old potential superstar PG who averaged 20 and 8 as a starter last year, or not having him on the roster. So why on earth would any Knick fan be happy they might let him go? Makes no sense.
