Absolutely nothing. It was reported that "according to sources" Knicks brass hasn't informed Lin's camp on anything.

1. That's debatable.
2. I'm not a player. I'm a fan. I want to have fun watching my team. That's something I wouldn't be able to do if he was here. That's part of the reason I want melo gone.

1. Not really. When you are the MVP and champion that pretty much makes you #1.
2. Winning isn't everything, it's the only thing.

1. This whole post was nonsense and I don't know why I took the time to respond.

That's one reason I really an side-eyeing some of these interpretations on his comments. I don't think he was as tight with him as Fields, Chandler et al, but I just can't see any animosity at all.

JR would probably do something to ruin his life before we get the chance to trade him anyway. So I wouldn't worry about that.

Knicks are in no position to be trading talented players who make pennies.

my feeling is the best case scenario is a match, with a big salary eventually being moved in max 2 years time

worst case scenario, you all know that :-?

LOL, Amare. We haven't heard his name that much in these threads. I wonder if it's because we've all become trolls and we empathize with Amare's trolling (talking about playing defense, punching fire extinguishers).

Amare is his own huge topic that needs his own thread.

He stands tall and tree like, so he blends well into the scenery. You'll never know he's there.

Its cool how you can troll on here under the guise that you're both a NY and Boston fan. I call BS.

If we had to make a decision on sunday, my guess is that we don't match Lin. I think a couple of days have now passed to let cooler heads prevail. Regardless of whether Dolan wants to keep Lin long term anymore, I believe he will understand that from a business perspective, it is best to match him and then get something in return in a trade of Lin instead of just letting him go for nothing.

I was discussing this issue at work and everyone, male or female, pretty much knew about this situation. The fact is that Lin is popular and he will sell tickets anywhere. He is an asset that Dolan should not waste.

I think we need to open up a bashing thread for each Knick player at this rate.

Return to New York Knicks
