You have to be really brave. And everybody who is really brave is kind of a stupid. You have to turn off that part of your mind whitch tells you that driving to the basket is too risk and you can be seriously hurt if you miscalculated.

In Other words, I think Frank is almost so coward than me and the average Joe...

He's soft in other words.. Not smart... Just soft

The words in your post collectively make no sense. But I couldn't tell if you were simply trying to clarify Richard4444's lol-post or actually have that idiotic opinion yourself.

Smith Jr / Payton / Allen
Ntilikina / Trier / Dotson
Barrett / Knox / Ellington
Randle / Morris / Brazdeikis
Robinson / Portis / Gibson

Injury list: Bullock

Smith and Frank must play alongside Barrett and also must learn how to hit the 3 efficiently

I don't come here to read unadulterated trolling. Fine for you if that's what you come here to do. I just find it uninteresting. Gl.

Randle / Morris are a lock for the starting 5.

That is my biggest concern towards Frank. I am afraid he is too sensible and smart to excel in NBA. He worries about not getting hurt and avoid trying to pass with a ball between giants. He is too normal...

To excel in NBA, you have to have a kind of "suicidal instinct" and not care like running into moving walls. You have to be irresponsible with your own body and enjoy taking hits. You have to be kind of a stupid.

Definitely a weird take in all of this. You've reached the point of apologizing too much for Frank.

For a guy who supposedly idolized the likes of Tony Parker and Westbrook Frank sure doesn't emulate the one thing that makes/made them great.. relentless attacking of the basket

I am curious you guys really think a person can be a successful NBAs PG slasher or a NFL running back without being kind of crazy or stupid?

The survival instinct of a normal person tells you to not try to run towards a bunch of giants who wants to stop you... It is normal to fear this situation. The successful slashers appears to not have such survival instincts. Something appears to be missing in their brain. Or at least they repeat the play since childhood and they programmed theirs brains to not fear the contact.

At the end, you could think a normal person is kind of stupid to fear taking kind of reasonable risks and the slashers are the genius one to become millionaires... That is a question of perspective.

Anyway, I think Frank cant have the necessary confidence, the survival instinct hit him and he cant use his athleticism to drive into the basket.

It's just gotten to the point of hilarity/stupidity I guess. I can't believe I live in a time when someone who shown so little has such a following that they ignore literally EVERYTHING else in basketball to pay shield a chosen project.

Some of it’s the same blind nationalism we saw with Jeremy Lin, where his fans would lash out and attack anyone they deemed to be in his way.

Other folks seem to have sort of a beta male idolatry that draws them to Frank’s “aww shucks” persona. They want him to succeed because they identify and see themselves in him.

You know, maybe the quoted statement isn't so strange. After all, Frank comes to the Knicks via France, and French people like to talk about Philosophy, so maybe the philosophical and psychological underpinnings of Frank fandom and hatred, and even ambivalence, need to be explored for many pages.

Some fans seem to enjoy Franks willingness to embrace the team game, sublimating his game for the greater good of the team. They seem to feel that when teams "play together as one" and embrace the "dirty work" of defense, that this leads to success of all.

I think we can clearly sniff out the unsavory underpinnings of this kind of thought. Socialism. Weak minded takers promote this false philosophy of unity, so they can rob alpha takers of their rightful due. This is unacceptable in basketball fandom as it is in real life.

The Knicks don't need such players! Americans, with their rugged individualism, don't need to be infected by this limp wristed euro-socialism! Say "No more!" to victimization promoting basketball. It's time the Knicks "Go Gault!" and "Keep what they kill!". The Knicks need triumph, a triumph of the will.

:D
