These fit the modern NBA perfectly, and are both efficient on offense and impactful on defense.

I do however think IQ (particularly him) and Obi have some intriguing upside and untapped potential.

I like each individually but neither can create thier own shot. Both are best paired with someone who is a major shot creator. Not saying we have that but just saying, idk that they are a good pairing.

With Brunson and Randle (or another scoring 4) here, I think it would alleviate them of the pressure of shot creation.

There would still be a piece missing, undoubtedly.

That is a huge factor for success in Thibs system as he is not a great offensive guy. Get him guys that create offense or better PG play and his system should do much better.

This is a trade I would like to see happen if KD to Phoenix doesnt happen

Knicks get: D. Mitchell, Crowder
Suns gets: Juluis, Rudy Gay
Utah gets: Ayton, Quickly, Mcbride, Reddish, Knicks 23/25/27 unprotected

22-23 rotation
Brunson // Rose
Mitchell // Fournier
RJ // Grimes
Obi // Crowder
Mitchell // Hartenstein

1. We should make this the "Knicks Off Season" thread. We don't have a thread for trades.

2. Dallas is apparently trying to shed some salary to find the room for a Brunson replacement. This could make Reggie Bullock available. Would you be interested in a Bullock-Knicks reunion? What would be a fair price?

We're weak defensively with a Brunson-Mitchell backcourt.

How about RJ for OG Anunoby?

Damn man, what'd ya have to do that for?

I'm a OG fan and have been on here saying that's who we should try to trade for over Spida but i don't think i could trade RJ for him cause i think they'd be a really good fit together and could help the other on their weaknesses. OG brings the shooting and defense and RJ brings the taking it to the basket strong and decent defense and decent shooting.

Something interesting to consider and I'm not sure if it's a causation circumstance or if it's just correlation.

The Knicks defense was much better when Bullock was in their starting line up than last season when he was gone. Then the Mavs defense was pretty bad before Bullock and got much better when they added him but there wasn't much of a difference in the roster other than Bullock

Yea, I know he's a limited player who's flaws got exposed with the Knicks in the playoffs but I can't help but think if the Knicks focus on getting a two way wing that maybe isn't as limited as Bullobk their team defense can return to Thibsian levels. Someone along the line of OG Anunoby would be great.

Cam in theory could be it but he's not shown the consistency or discipline so far in his short young career. Maybe this will be the season the light bulb turns on and he steps up. Of course in a contract year it would make me wonder if it's real and would hesitate to trust it is.

There might not be a single bigger Knicks troll than this guy. Everything he posts is pure made up crap to stir the pot.

Royce O'Neal was taken from Utah which was a totally slick ass move by Nyets. He was probably a piece that should have come back especially if we were considering including RJ.

You mean slick move by the Jazz to get a 1st round pick for him.

The only way I'll believe any KD rumors is if there are pictures of him at the cookout, it is fourth of July so if he goes to Dolan's BBQ then there may be some believable smoke to this...probably hickory, maybe mesquite.
