Took the flyer on Zach Collins thinking the Spurs would trade Poeltl and it has paid off, see him getting many more minutes hopefully boosting his rebounding numbers in the SIM next yr

Did Cam Thomas just become the #1 option in Brooklynn’s offense? Maybe Mikal Bridges? Dinwiddie? The Nets are crazy deep now.

I am still looking to make a move or two; but not desperate. I think my team is setup well to make some playoff noise. Now and into the future.

I got one offer for Pritchard...anyone else?

Celtics Gauging Trade Value Of Danilo Gallinari, Payton Pritchard In Search For Big
FEB 8, 2023 4:04 PM

The Boston Celtics continue to seek more depth at center and have been exploring the combined value of trading out Danilo Gallinari and Payton Pritchard, according to Jake Fischer of Yahoo.

Gallinari suffered a torn ACL during the offseason and has missed the entire season. Pritchard's value to the Celtics as a rotation guard has decreased after they acquired Derrick White and Malcolm Brogan in sequential transaction windows.

Fischer adds that Jakob Poeltl and Mo Bamba are a pair of available big men that match that outgoing salary.

A day has passed and the rat finally pokes his head out of his hole hoping everyone forgot about the ass-whuppin he took at the hands of Minnesota.

Also, I asked you to post the trade you said I sent you this season. Please do refresh my memory. Cuz I don’t recall. But who knows… prove me wrong!

And one more thing, Brooklyn is a straight-up Hyacinth Macaw. Ya big bird!

Using the thread gets to the most GMs. Sending out 30 PMs is a PITA when you are just making known the basics. The response PMs is still where the work is done.

It also creates more inquiries and more competition which drives up the asking price. But to each their own.

The trade between DN and myself is a really great example of posting about a player, Keegan, I was making available; and it working out.

I had pretty much given up on getting Mark and/or Patrick Williams from him. But his response to my Keegan post opened up talks that had ended months ago.

I feel you. Different strokes for different folks. Me personally, I don’t mind sending 27 PMs.

Cuz for some GMs, a public declaration could lead to cock-blocking, or others trying to devalue your assets using the tactic of public slander. Or feigning their own interest to drive up the asking price.

The shadows work well for me. With all that said, I know I have zero shot at acquiring Cam Thomas which is the sole reason I went the public route.

Cheap shot tactics are for losers. Those that do that, go to the bottom of my pecking order in trade partners. Its not that I won't make a deal. I will always make a deal if it helps my team. But when all things are considered, I deal with them last.

In a season filled with improbable story lines, Hauser’s emergence as one of the NBA’s most statistically impactful players ranks among the most wacky. His three-point percentage (48.9%) trails only Kentavious Caldwell-Pope and Damion Lee. He is just behind Jokić in offensive rating (124.1). One NBA assistant compared him favorably to three-point specialist Jason Kapono. A year ago Hauser was home watching Joe Wieskamp, David Johnson and Scottie Lewis get drafted over him. Today he is a leading candidate for the NBA’s Most Improved Player.

“Sam knows who he is,” says Bennett. “So many guys don’t know who they are. They’re so desperate to become someone that they aren’t, or they’re trying to prove it, that they end up disqualifying themselves or hurting themselves. Sam is very clear on who he is as a player and a person. And that’s gold when you got that. He understands clearly, ‘This is my identity. This is who I am.’ And he’s not going to veer from it.”

It’s gonna be interesting sifting through all these IRL trades to see the impact it has on our BaF teams. Some players will be getting buried. Others will be getting freed.

From a Knicks perspective, I’ll be watching Thibs. He can either bury Hart how he did Cam or he could end up falling in love with him and giving him 35 mins per night.

Yo Thibs!
