Jitpal wrote:Wait, here is another question. Up until late last night and today everything has been pretty much been airtight in terms of what was leaked. How is it that everyone and their mother has "multiple reliable sources" saying LBJ is going to Miami? Yesterday, you couldn't get anyone to say anything other than some super vague thing like "a source who knows someone close to a person with knowledge of the situation suggests LeBron is leaning towards playing for the _____ but the situation is still fluid so anything can change." Today we are to the point where we are hearing about what sort of offense the team is going to run, quotes from the players etc.

This isn't a leak, it's like a dam burst, or was opened. It just seems a little too convenient that in the hours before everyone has all the info anyone could want. -Jitpal

Exactly. The lid on this is too tight for it to leak now. No one knows anything at all and yet they're talking as if it's written in stone.

The problem is those Big 3 are at least top 3 in their respectable positions.

I think Kobe and Duncan at the very least have something to say about that. -Jitpal

thats why I said top 3 in their respective positions.

If LeBron doesn't choose us, it's not over.

Carmelo is still a very real possibility, as well as Parker.

Parker/Melo/Amare may not be as good of a big 3 as Miami's superfriends, but it's definitely one that can challenge them. And it'll be a lot more fun to root AGAINST LeBron, than cheer for this diva.

It seems obvious that LBJ is signing elsewhere. He said as much. he said that all the losing teams would find out at the same time, which means to me that the winning team already knows and by the way Miami is acting they know

bastards, I hate them so much its amazing!!!!!!!!!

I second this. You guys have to realize that we just got Amare, a superstar, Gallo will be in his 2nd full season with a real big man, we still have 18M in cap space this year and will most likely have an additional 13M next year. With guys like Melo, Parker, CP3 out there, we will improve. And what better way to stick it to Lebron then to beat him and taunt his ass during a Garden playoff game. Don't get too down.

If Spike really said that, I'm not even bothering to watch tonight. Why give ratings to this attention whore? For the charity? I'll donate to the charity on the side. This guy isn't about the charity. He's about the spotlight.

What is wrong with you people. Did you actually read the entire quote in context:

“We’ve got Amar’e and that enables us to get possibly LeBron or Carmelo [Anthony] next year, a sign-and-trade with Chris Paul, or Tony Parker,” Lee said. “Amar’e’s not the only thing we’re gonna do. They’re not even done yet.”

Asked if Knicks’ fans would feel the two years of pursuing James were wasted, Lee said no.

“They’re not gonna blame the Knicks for not getting LeBron,” he said. “They just know LeBron didn’t want to come here.”

He's just saying IF he doesn't choose, it's because he didn't want to come here, not that he definitely doesn't want to come here...jeez.

errr....right. I didnt say they were #1....just that they were at least in the TOP 3 at their POSITIONS.

side note, Duncan is just about finished. Not sure I'd have have him as the #1 PF in the game. Gasol now has that honor.

AGREED!

I'm not buying that he's going to the Heat for one second. There is no way in hell he stays with the Cavs, imo the Bulls have a better shot than the Heat. LeBron will be a Knick, have faith people it's not over yet.

+1000000000

Im glad to see not everyone in here is dropping their draws, holding their breath and willingly accepting a mind fk....

Im not your bro, guy.

LeBron hasnt said sh*t yet. If he does say Miami its not the end of the world. It would suck royally but its not like we didnt do everything in our power to get him. What you're doing is trying to shield yourself from being "hurt" as if you wont get hurt anyway if he does decide to go there. Its a b*tch move. Man up "biggest Knick fan". Keep coming at me and get banned for 6th time.

Spike hasn't thrown in the towel. At least not based on the way I read it. It's from here: Link

“They’re not gonna blame the Knicks for not getting LeBron,” he said. “They just know LeBron didn’t want to come here.”

I read that as Knick fans won't blame the Knicks for not getting LeBron, not as they don't do it now. In that it's something based on a hypothetical. -Jitpal

According to 1050 espn there is a Miami reporter stating that some people from Wades camp says Wade doesnt want Lebron there. They are going to try and get him on.

Well, DAntoni seems to be:

From Ian O'Connor's twitter:
D'Antoni on Miami Big 3: "It's a really good team. It will set a high bar for the Eastern Conf & we'll chase it." #Knicks #LeBron
