True, but who cares about the regular season? In the playoffs, you have to run an offense, and Lin does it better than Felton.

As you like to say, that is opinion, not fact.
And I disagree. Why would Lin want to play for a team where he won't be featured and where he won't be able to play to his strengths? In Houston there is little pressure and the ball runs through him. Not to mention that he doesn't have to work for a front office that has bitterness for him or with players that bear resentment. And he won't have to compete with fatass Felton, Dolan's pet, for minutes.

He didn't feel the need to come into shape in his CONTRACT YEAR... so logically we can assume, that he's going to come to camp in shape when he just got paid? Uhhh... OK.

You got me laying odds on my own life. I'm like, there's a 3:1 chance we don't match, is my life really worth $75 m?
I think I'd need at least $50 mil to take the bet or a $10 mil payout to my family if Lin goes to Houston.

45 wins? Is that really what we're shooting for here?

You're one of the better posters here with regards to this stuff (contracts/rules/CBA), so it's nothing new to you but alot of others didn't know all the details.

Seriously, I think some fans here have been brainwashed to think that 45 win season is OK and getting spanked out of the playoffs is ok as well. It doesn't seem like its all about the chip anymore. With Lin = NO CHIP!. Without Lin = NO CHIP! This team is doomed to mediocrity for the next 3 years either way.
