Are you a teenager?

Lakers during their run with Shaq/Kobe would sweep the Heat. Again, who on the Heat could even come close to slowing down Shaq? Shaw would do whatever he wants. And if we're talking about Lebron being on Jordan's level, Kobe in his prime is right there. So not only do you have Shaq who would be the most dominate player on the floor in a match up with Miami, Kobe could cancel out Lebron.

It's gross how people today think everything is greater than it really is. It's why dumb kids are all about the Nickleback when talking about rock.

Lakers and Bulls were both better teams than the Heat. This Heat team already lost a championship, almost lost to the Celtics in the playoffs last year and were down 2-1 to the Pacers. You're going to have egg on your face if the Heat lose in the championship. Thunder has the talent to beat em and the Clippers/Grizzlies certainly have the size. Clippers and Grizzlies would be a nightmare match up for the Heat. Better yet, the Pacers knock off the Heat. Even your own Knicks... wth. If you don't think Chandler/Amare could prevent problems with their size while Melo does the scoring, then I don't know what to tell ya. The Heat's run is impressive but while you're talking about the greatest ever, they don't even have the win streak or the best regular season record. The belongs to the Bulls and Lakers. So not only do I think your talk of them being the best team ever is ridiculous, their are stats that prove they're not. And look how weak the East is for that matter. When MJ played in the East, it was stacked top to bottom. When Kobe/Shaq played in the West, stacked top to bottom.

lebron cancels out shaq
wade cancels out kobe
bosh beats anyone else on that LAL team

this MIA team has 2 batmans and 1 robin, no other team has had that, hence, greatest team ever

The Lakers of the early 00's were probably the most overrated dynasty team in NBA history. In any other era they would have lost at least 2 of 3 finals appearances had they been fortunate enough to make it three straight times.

Shaq and Kobe in their prime... No one can say who would win a 7 game series definitively. It's definately up for debate...

I think Kobe has always been highly overrated and he's never been as good as LeBron is now. In fact I think the gap is pretty wide. But Shaq's dominance was just unreal in that era. I think the Lakers beat them cause of Shaq.

This may be the worst basketball analysis I have ever seen.

47???? Damn I'm going to have to watch that game tonight... I was super, super high on Wall coming out of college.. I thought he had the ability to be better than Rose... I for one am glad he's been playing so well... He just needs to be surrounded by the right people, teammates and a good teaching coach.

And Washington isn't going to be an automatic win for us when we play them here in a bit.

I like Wall, he isn't just a "fast" player as some may believe.

Already lost to them once. They can beat any team on a rando night. Tough for them they have money invested in nene.

Hack a Shaq worked pretty good for Chicago.

Do you guys really believe Riley would sport this same lineup back then?

He's always got a center when he needed to. Mourning then an older Shaw for the first ring.

Comparing the team as is makes no sense.

The Heat are built fir what the league is now.......a non dominant centerless League.

That's really not relevant to the argument though.

In terms of matchups, it doesn't really matter what Riley would do.

LA getting run out of Oakland, WOW

No sense of urgency at all. I thought Asstoni delivering that heartfelt speech would stir up their competitive sensibilities, but no...it looks like it had an adverse effect.

Lakers dont deserve to make the playoffs. Neither do the Jazz. I hope Dirk and the Mavs get in, and upset San Antonio in the first round. That would warm my heart.

Lakers really should not make the playoffs as an eighth seed, especially if they have to face OKC.

Young squads run them out of the gym.
