Re: Knicks-Rockets PG: Who didn't see this coming?
Not sure what everyone is upset about. This is the most excited I've ever been as a Knicks fan. We pile up losses, send Melo to Boston for the Nets pick and we're looking at two lotto picks to pair with KP for next year. That's how you build a team... Look at the Thunder when they had their 3 studs, looks at the Wolves now, heck even Philly looks like they have some hope.
Phil signed two washed up post injury PGs, some unknown Euros and a washed up center, And you thought he didn't want to tank?
Phil is smart, he put a few "names" on this team so when it fails, blame is not directed at him and he can rebuild the right way.

Carmelo isn't worth the Nets pick. Are you trolling?
You'll be lucky to get a mid-level prospect for Melo at this point in his career.

He's a bargain contract after what's been given out this off-season, and Boston is in win now mode. They tried to get him last year and they''l try again this year, up to Phil to make it happen.

Myles Turner has had some bad games since the opening monster. Take a longer view, unless you're in a GT. Then okay.

If numbers are what people want. There you go.
And there you go a few posts later skewing the stats for Melo in the opposite way. I say he's averaging 21 on 41% or 20 on 43% depending on which game you remove.
Yes I did and my point was proven.

i've noticed that when facts get thrown at you, you go to the 'i don't care' card ... such a donald trump move.
Man you KP fanboys are funny
Fact? What facts? You guys bring up information that has nothing to do with the topic of discussion. You guys keep talking about KP needs more touches, nobody looks to give KP the ball, Melo and Rose are holding him back, then when an actual fact like his free throw percentage gets displayed and I make a point that he is actually struggling all over the place and try point out that he is even struggling to shoot free throws, you guys want to start making the excuse of well he's only in his 2nd year and look at Karl Anthony Towns and this and that. You can't use the "he's only 21 and he makes mistakes and he's learning" excuse only when you feel like it. At least be mature enough to acknowledge his struggles without blaming the other players around him.

Fairly hypocritical to criticize the maturity of other when you swat away arguments to place his play in context with "DGAF" or I don't care! You have your position and you're stone cold going to ignore everything that runs counter to it. That's fine but don't complain about the maturity of others.

When you start grasping for straws out of desperation and start bringing up irrelevant information, I'm not going to pretend like it matters.

Seems like you are struggling to keep up, like Porzingis on defense, so I'll leave you alone

Few things I'm at peace with: I wouldn't want Mudiay and not too impressed with Russell. Okafor real problems. Turner is nice but nobody had him top 5.
