BKE just answered who was responsible for the firing. And from what they know Leon still making decisions. Dolan was involved because it was such a big business decision and basically he cut the checks.

BKE saying Leon and Dolan came to the agreement to fire Thibs. Both were involved for obvious reasons.

They confirmed that 7 players were on the "fire Thibs" side of the argument.

Why are you crying over criticism? Nobody is perfect, thats obvious, but that’s not his only screw up. There’s a very long list actually (in the recent thread about his grade I listed them all at length)… not sure what Udoka’s scandal has to do with anything tho.

This is obvious that Dolan was brought into the meetings cause he would haev to pay out 30 million. But it doesnt fit the narrative of chaos and the knciks world is burning down. Franchise is being treated as if they lost in the play in to the hawks.

We have no clue what they’re doing. That’s why I don’t understand the freak outs or prematurely collecting wins like we failed after firing Thibs.

For all we know they could be doing something outside the box… maybe they’re considering the option of someone like Bryant at the helm and interviewing vet coaches to put around him. There’s so many possibilities…

that's been my position. I dont care what the "sources" say...Time is the only source I bet on...

I don't think many of us are Dolan supporters so no one is making excuses for him. we love that he's not with the team. But you're right and they're right. If he has to eat 30 million and Thibs just got us to the ECF why in the hell wouldn't he be involved???

Well yea… you don’t think you’re coming off a lil whiny dude? No offense lol.

It’s a fair criticism considering Leon’s rep for nepotism… he likely passed on him because he knew he was giving it to his boy Thibs the whole time. Never said we should fire him for it.

Hopefully he learned his lesson and hires/drafts/trades for the best available as opposed to personal relationships/CAA.

This is terrible news but being denied permission for Kidd is great news so we win some and lose some.
