right now with felton out it wouldn't be horrible to have lin coming off the bench. we could use someone to attack the basket. see, i'm fair. i'd also take gallo over copeland. don't tell you know who though.

I would talk about David Lee, he's the best player we've had, but he never has any guys fighting for him, his play doesn't need it.

It's as if as soon as he got traded his career ended. I was way too harsh on Wilson and I even posted that I felt bad I used to grill him and even pined for him to come back to NY because I don't think in the last 10 or so years one player has ever truly liked playing in NY more than Wil.

supposedly he's gonna start practicing soon. read that somewhere. i have a feeling that once he does they're gonna look to trade him.

If the team signed Kenyon would you take Gallinari over Stodemire?

Wilson should've stayed in China, Denver has been bad luck for him. They should've traded him to the 76ers.

Yeah, I don't think he will last either. Along with injuries, Gallo, AI and Corey coming to his own makes him expendable.

Yesterdays Stoudemire.

When you think about it... putting Gallinari at the 4 next to Melo at the 3 actually wouldn't be that bad. Gallinari likes to pass and spot up they might complement each other well in the modern NBA where going small is en vogue.

Woodson would've loved Corey Brewer. I'd take him right now over Ronnie Brewer.

Yup - that's the time it took for the Gallo debate to end. You could catch an early break if we go deep into the playoffs and Felton plays well.

Just in time for when Shumpert gets traded.

fdr2012 wrote:LOL. Look at Vasquez's stat line and tell me if he was good defensively. He can't keep a chair in front of him. Nice try though. You're definitely leading the homer of the year contest..

You seem to really have something against Lin. Did he do something to hurt your feelings? Are his fans overwhelmingly annoying? If it's the latter, believe me, I sympathize. Well, whatever, that's not the point here. Did you actually watch the game? How about the past Rockets games this season? If you have been consistently watching their games, you'd know that Lin's not a bad defender. If you haven't, well you'd be sounding pretty foolish. And I'm curious-- how exactly do you rate someone's defense? Eye test? Looking at opposing position's stat line as you did in this case? Looking at the player's steals/blocks? Their +/- stat? I hope you make use of all of those things along with advanced statistics like Synergy, as you won't know the full story any other way. But like I said, Lin's not a bad defender. He's a pretty good defender, actually. Obviously he's no Bradley or Shump (specifically ability to pressure ball handler, as that's what most people believe makes someone a good defender, especially point guards) or even Toney Douglas, but he's not a Nash or Calderon either. Regardless of what Vasquez's statline looks like (he had a pretty good game BTW, if you didn't watch the game), Lin played decent defense. Not just on Vasquez, but on Rivers as well (he did guard Rivers when Lin was moved to the 2, like I said before-- if you didn't watch the game), though that last part might not be saying much considering Rivers doesn't need a defender to take himself out of the game consistently.
