Its the NBA, no one is fighting Lebron to get suspended. And as far as Cavs not having "goons" Lebron is a **** brickhouse. He looked to be the same size as Kanter, who is actually intimidating him? Kanter was in Lebron's face and didn'tstare in his eyes, Frank didn't look Lebron in his face. It was really fake posturing. These are men, not kids, nor does it matter how long they've been in the league.

He's actually been like this for much of his career, and it seems to come from a place of insecurity. He was apparently still salty about Phil's criticism from a year ago, so he took a shot at Frank. When he was criticized for it, he kind of apologized without apologizing, blaming New Yorkers for blowing it out of proportion, and then needlessly called out Kanter, who was just sticking up for his teammate. Then he got booed by the NY crowd, so he tried to take it out on Frank, whom he claimed he was never taking a shot at in the first place, and both Frank and Kanter stood up to him. Kanter again stuck up for his team after the game, calling LeBron a princess, and again he felt the need to respond.

I don't think I've ever seen a champion athlete with such thin skin. The dude is 33 years old and has won 3 titles. You'd think he'd be above this sh*t and just let it go, but he's just too damn insecure. It's kind of pathetic.

I don't think he has thin skin, but he has this arrogance where he understands his place in the NBA and he flaunts it proudly. I personally hate Lebron, but I would love a Knick to be great enough to talk his ****, knowing no one can stop him.

Nah, it's thin skin. The dude can't stand to be criticized. This isn't even good trash talking -- it's just petty bull.

And we did stop him. Two weeks ago. On his own home court.

Not to say I told you so -- but I told you so. What was "He should just try it, why not" has already become "He has a mental problem because he's not scoring enough."

He's biding time, he's learning, he's a controlled player. This is exactly why I say "Nah" to any rallying cry that he should look for his offense more. Because it's basically a slippery slope to a lot of dissatisfaction that is pretty irrational.

You have not told me schit. Cause Just yesterday you quoted me and said I was RIGHT when he was attacking  . Stop with the schit man. Also give up quoting me on this issue. Its like you trying to change my mind on something that you cant do.

Of course he should look for some driving opportunities if something opens up and make the defense pay, which he did, and so I ;) at you for fun. But yeah, this idea that he's not offensive enough and let's dissect why, is a bad idea lol.

We can agree to disagree that you can ask "Why?" about a kid and have that chatter be supportive in some way.

We all know why he's not able to drive or score a lot of points ... mental or not, physical or not, age or not, it all translates to the same thing: He's not ready and thinking he can will himself to being ready faster is a load of crap.

No one wants to be criticised and he should defend himself against criticism. I don't think yall acknowledging Lebron's place in basketball and in America tbh.

He doesn't have too. No one is dumb enough to swing on him and get a season long suspension to help a team that'll probably cut them. And once again, Lebron is really **** big. Think as a grownup, drop the childish mindset.

Such a wannabee MJ omg

I bet thats why he was going after Frank too, must have read Merci GOAT and that part about MJ, even if he didnt and universe just crossed all the paths, I thought the beef was great and elevates Frank, going head to head against LeBron James, like that MJ v AI moment, he didnt get the chance to put an highlight play on him but loved the little altercation to let his presence known, to the world, LeBron took a challenge to individually guard Frank, and the game before there was a play he was just watching DSJ score a layup from the side like a statue as they blew them away

And Philwin Jackster said it best when he said: "Any man who must say 'I am the king' is no true king at all."

Or he could handle it like a pro. Which is what Frank did when he was asked about LeBron's comments. And it's what Dirk did when LeBron and Wade mocked him in the 2011 Finals. Just move on and go play basketball. But LeBron can't do that, because he still thinks he always needs to have the last word. Kanter wasn't even criticizing him at first -- he was just sticking up for Frank, and Bron felt the need to call him out yesterday morning.

But hey, I guess we gotta agree to disagree, man. Obviously none of this means LeBron isn't one of the best of all-time.

I am so tired of readning this, so a tall defensive ball distributing P is a triangle pg? really ? I think Frank fits this team because of the type of player he is. A player like i described will be good with any team with decent big man....14 ppgs 7 to 8 apg and 3 steals is not a bad state line for any type of pg

Stop readning it then.

Frank doesn’t average that stat line and it’s more about play style. Frank isn’t the modern day NBA pg but he doesn’t have to be

No because it is a falsehood. stop writing it then would be my reply. I did not mean to say that is his stat line now but it could be in about 2 yrs. There have always been NBA big nba point guards none were system specific. on this list they show the height of people who came into the league as a pg. 6ft 5 with ball distributing skills and playing defense lends to any system so it is not triangle specific.

It seems like there are two types of fans:

Type 1 - thinks that offensive ability is the penultimate skill. Looks for free agent targets in Sports Center highlights
Type 2 - understands that basketball is a team game and defense is as important as offense

With DSJ, I see a kid who is currently an inefficient player but shows a ton of potential. If he continues to play like he currently does, he will only hurt his team in the win column. Given his physical tools, I doubt he can become a great defender. I still have attitude and injury concerns.

With Frank, I see a kind who is currently an excellent defender but shows a ton of potential for improvement. If he continues to play like he currently does, he will continue to help teams in the win column. With Frank, I have zero attitude or injury concerns. His play shouts "diamond in the rough". He is already the best PG we have on our roster.

Just like KP, this kid has exceeded my expectations.

Let's be honest: What LeBron really wants most ... even if he has 0 intention of ever playing for the Knicks ... is a repeat of 2010. He's aging and he knows it. What he wants is to be in the limelight full blast again.

If he's sane, he probably knows this team he's dragging onto the court doesn't have much of any hope to win a title. This next summer he gets a kind of rerun and I think he'd love it -- absolutely love it -- if he could get some attention again. No better way than to get that attention from NYC, and he definitely loves the city itself.

Loves to hate us, I guess, but loves to hate ain't that far from hates that he loves ... NY/Knicks.

what is his place? honestly he means crap to NY basketball he means what to the NBA? really he has been dethroned by pick a player on the Warriors. he is an all star yes but after that he is running a business and trying to get young players to sign with an agency he works with.
He constantly flops, carries and then complains about how he is treated. Basketball owes him crap the NY fans owe him crap

You best believe if Kanter put his hands on LeBitch yesterday...

LeBron would drop the tough guy act and fall to the floor like he got shot.. Then he would go cry to the refs for help...

Simply disgusting to watch another man who is a self-proclaimed king...act like such a pussy.

I agree with you, but Lebron doesn't have to handle things like others. He is the head of the NBA. Look at how our president handle things. When you're high on the pecking order, you can do as you choose. Lebron doesn't have to please or satisy anyone. He can do as he choose. Petty or unprofessional, he's entitled to it.
