I had thought that the Nets would have the best record this season but I foolishly forgot that they would be load managing KD and Kyrie. Then add this Dinwiddie injury.

I don’t really care about his FG% or TS% tbh. I’m more impressed by the leaps he took on defense. His offense will come around. I’ll still have the last laugh lol. Give it another 10-15 games.

I agree with the general point but I'm not sure it applies to Knox or Ntilikina

In his third year, Sabonis averaged 14.1 points per game on .590 TS% plus 9.3 rebounds and 2.9 assists per game.

And Ingram averaged 18.3 points per game on .555 TS% plus 5.3 rebounds and 3.0 assists per game.

These guys were ballers by their third year. They improved every year since they entered the league, whereas the careers of Knox and Frank have stalled. They have not been on an upwards trajectory at all. But I think Frank deserves to play by default, and while I have no faith whatsoever in Knox, he absolutely should get minutes as long as he plays hard like he's been doing so far under Thibs.

But I think if we're patient with Mitch and RJ we'll be rewarded in the future.

They’re a few years in so I think passing some judgment on them is fair.

Calling kids busts less than a week into their pro career is crazy yet we do it every year.

I blame espn for making hot takes a thing with the NBA when it’s such a long season. They’re treating it like it’s football when it’s more like baseball

I’d be pissed if I was a Nets fan and my two stars aren’t playing because of load management. Lol those 2 don’t give a damn about the franchise.

I mean you’re dealing with 2 guys with a history of injuries. They kind of have to treat them this way

It looked like he just rolled it really bad

Which is gonna hurt like hell, but nothing major broken
