A moment of silence please for Kevin Greeson, who established beyond doubt the age-old question of whether tasering yourself in the balls multiple times is dangerous to your health. Thankfully, reports are he died with his jackboots on and his mask off - a true Trumper to the end.

How did any of these people get out? How was the Capitol building cleared? How is it that virtually no one was arrested? So there was a strong enough law enforcement presence to induce them to leave, but not to take them into custody? Did police or national guard or whomever just turn them loose?

Maybe I'm looking in the wrong places, but I haven't seen any news outlets really addressing this.

pretty sure i read or heard that the head of the dept of defense is culpable for the weak defense.

*such as they didn't adhere to threats and warnings.

I have very lil faith that Dems will get anything done here - and I'm afraid of what will happen if they don't. I'm aware that Graham and other prominent republicans are standing in the way - but got damn - the Dems are impotent.

I can't stop laughing.

Once Congress was more or less out of danger I kind of prefer that they're going in after the fact. Once they failed to have proper security in place, mass arrests could have escalated things very quickly, which could have a snowball effect across the country. Just disperse calmly and get the more egregious actors and organizers...

...Especially the Big One.

Impotent? They're initiating impeachment proceedings shortly. Contrary to the GOP, they are bound by laws and regulations and are doing what they can
