Knicks’ intriguing G-League forward left the team following P.J. Tucker signing
T.J. Warren of the Westchester Knicks – the G-League affiliate of the New York Knicks – was hoping to get a call-up to the NBA roster when they had an open roster spot, but instead they gave it to P.J. Tucker on a pair of 10-day contracts.

T.J. Warren left the Knicks after they signed P.J. Tucker
Following that, Warren reportedly left Westchester and is no longer with the team at this time, per the New York Post’s Stefan Bondy. Warren was enjoying a very strong campaign in the G-League with an average of 23 points per game and could have fit well on the Knicks’ bench.

Opportunity Lost? I think TJ would be more helpful then PJ Tucker.

Not a good look. TJ could have signed elsewhere months ago. We needed a scoring wing off the bench. We sign a chaperone who hasn't played in what, TWO YEARS? What is that all about? For TJ to leave like that, he must have felt he was gonna be called up for some reason. I don't get the PJ over TJ logic at all. It's a bad look indeed,

Yeah that is a bad look by Leon. The guy was probably working and waiting for a call up and they sign PJ Tucker to passionately hug Draymond on the same night that KAT left everything on the floor versus GS.

I don't think Tom would have played him but still. They literally wasted the guy's time.

Certain guys always are going to have an asterisk for me because of their baiting skills. Like Manu was never in the elite elite discussion, so his flops, Vlade's flops, didn't really bother me. Harden being an MVP candidate, LeBron who wanted to be the GOAT, can't be playing the refs game like that. That's not basketball. instant -5 on the ppg for me when I am comparing numbers.
DWade gave up a lot to bring in LeBron and bring together a top-5 most talented team all-time. With that roster, it really should have been "not 1, not 2, not 3..."

I'm sure TJ is enough of a pro to just move on to the next opportunity, but if I were him I'd have been extremely aggravated. Ok, if the Knicks had chosen to sign Okeke or Moses Brown, meh, very disappointed, but understandable perhaps due to positional need. But PJ-I'm-more-retired-than-Haslam-Tucker? :noway: :noway: :noway:
