They can’t.

The Warriors aren’t the Cavs. Just like Boston isn’t Toronto.

How long before Lebron starts getting cramps?

They are on the way.
He can always blame his neck though

JR is straight ass.

I fkn hate myself for even bringing up Melo cause im tired of hearing his name around here honestly. But the Cavs find themselves in a similar position w/ how the Knicks used JR w/ Melo here. After Amare went down w/ his injuries, Knicks relied heavy on JR Smith as basically the #2 scoring option. Cavs now find themselves relying on JR as their #3 option. Which is a recipe for disaster.

JR is 2/16 in these 2 games. The series against Toronto, besides 1 game which he barely shot the ball, he was on fire from the field. Jr is getting close to 30 minutes and providing nothing out there except dirty ass fouls. You cant even play Clarkson cause hes been ass too for the entire playoffs. Cavs need to play Hood and Korver more minutes if JR isnt on early. But the problem w/ Korver is, Stevens will make sure they attack him on the defensive end.

Boston will not beat themselves. Only had 5 turnovers tonight, 9 in game 1. They have multiple playmakers on the floor meanwhile the Cavs are scrambling to give the ball to LeBron so he can make something out of nothing. And Boston knows that which is how they won the turnover margin by 10 tonight. LeBron gets his usual high assist numbers, while the rest of his team individually have 0 1 or 2. And Boston has multiple players w/2 assists or more.

Take away LeBron, and the rest of the Cavs are shooting a combined .388 from the field and .219 from from downtown in this series. I expect that someone will get hot in game 3 at home, and they will probably win. So game 4 will be pivotal. If the Celtics take that one, it's over.

This is easily the most likable Celtic team.

People ignore this when critiquing Melo.
JR was literally our 3rd best player and 2nd option on offense. At least the Cavs have Love.

Melo
Tyson
JR

Lawdy :nonono:

As far as the Cavs are concerned I have no answers for them. That Irving trade puts them here. Not enough fire power to make up for their garbage defense.

Marcus Smart is awesome. Nice to see him getting the recognition he’s deserved since at least last year.

Question - why does Ty Lue have the Cavs going over on PnR with Smart...? Bad bad bad idea and was always a bad idea. That’s the exact opposite of how you want to play against him.

I wish search was working because I’d go back and find my thoughts on the trade. I said something along the lines of this being a lateral move doubling down on inefficient offensive players and poor defenders.

No one is talking about but Lebron has just stopped playing defense. Dude is straight up stat padding at this point. Yesterday reminded me of Game 5 against the Warriors last year. Knew the series was over and just started stat padding.

Also seems like the Warriors have been hitting a ton of mid range 2s these playoffs (not the long ones right under the arc). There's definitely still a use for it.

He just checks out and starts stat padding, then throws tons of shade at his team in the post game.

Budenholzer is believed to prefer Milwaukee's job over the Raptors.

Bud sees it the exact same way I do. Milwaukee has better overall talent on the roster, despite less wins in the regular season. If he has met with Giannis and Middleton, it's basically a done deal. Even with that peculiar ownership structure, Milwaukee is just a better job. Toronto is going nowhere.

I'd say take it to PM after any initial response so it doesn't take over.
