This spaces has just become a contest to see how many different ways people can ask the same exact question

listen there only value is basically knowing Leon Rose's daughter...they basically can't even make this more mainstream because there whole value is breaking information before it goes out so they have to stay anonymous so they can't go off and create a platform like CP or Macri...they basically have to stay anonymous not to risk the only source making them relevant.

There's nothing that makes me respect those dudes more than listening to these godawful Spaces

i was a KFS fan from when they really were just doing film analysis. i don't mind their other content, and i won't knock fans for monetizing. but word. there's def a difference between fans talking on their own platforms and journalism.

If you search hard enough their identity isn’t really that anonymous (if search slightly even harder you’ll find some unsavory things you might not like), but yes they don’t provide much value besides being a talking head

well yes if they are throwing watch parties and stuff you can obviously put faces to names...but its one thing to do that and then run a public podcast because they always deny. Its why 95% of there posts are click bait bull...but every once in a while they get fed something worthwhile that breaks some news.

The reports say 7 players wanted Thibs gone. Thats basically the entire playable roster outside of Jalen and Hart.

So I don't know how that leads to the conclusion that Dolan overrode his FO and forced a firing of a man who just made him tons of money and restored the goodwill and reputation of the franchise.

By all reports this was led by Dolan. Not Leon or random players on the roster.

I havent been following the coaching search well but this lets me know how the current state of it is going... well at least how we are holding up.

Realizing im getting too old for all this sht. That playoff run wore me tf out.

Im prepared for the worst and will keep my expectations low. Would be a very knicksian thing to fire thibs only to end up with a worse coach. But I respect the hustle if they truly believed that thibs couldnt get to the pinnacle. Would have been real easy to keep riding with thibs and 2nd round exits.

Im just still really skeptical of this regime even if they've been highly successful. They've mad some really questionable moves. Which leads to some skepticism that they'll get this one right.

Also the knicks for clicks is going off right now. So much contradictory information.

I've seen nothing that has been credibly reported that indicates that this was some wild, unilateral decision, and that this was a collective decision made by ownership, the front office with feedback from the players.

Unless there is evidence otherwise I think the idea that Dolan just barged in and flushed 30m of his money down the toilet because he didn't like Tom is completely false.

Do you watch KFTV? CP is a huge Thibs supporter but he even talked about Thibs being on thin ice going back to the Detroit series. This wasn't some quick decision. What was reported that, many thought if he made the ECF he was safe. But losing in the way we did plus 5-7 players saying their displeased and one player even going as far as saying he won't play for him next year... WHAT DID WE EXPECT TO HAPPEN?? Deuce even immediately voiced his frustration.

And for all the Brunson wanted him, that may be true. But reports also stated that Brunson didn't push back on the idea. 2 of his closest friends (donte and mikal) spoke out about Thibs and his coaching and we just think Brunson didn't have talks with them?

Byt the way, is OG and Mikal the only starters that haven't posted about Thibs??

What did people expect?

We litigated all season about his performance. This wasn't done in a vacuum or on a whim.

Like I know I know I've been in the loop for 3 seasons so I understand why folks are going off on Dolan, he brought this on hinself, but $30m is a lot of money to just give away out of spite. I think this was a lock step move as the team was not performing to a level where everyone thought it should.
