The good thing is the Jazz game should be over by tipoff so the Lakers will know what they gotta do.

How do the Hawks justify this as anything other than trying to get the 6th seed?

So the Knicks hold the fate of the Nets in their hands (should Hawks lose tonight, which seems likely).. Beat the Hawks tomorrow and Nets play Bulls, lose and Nets play Hawks... Giving the Pacers the Hawks is sorta like giving them a first round pass-- but most important is avoiding Bulls.. So winning tomorrow is important.

Let the Bulls give the Heat a battle... and maybe we get lucky and the Hawks steal a series from the Pacers.

Well, they aren't tanking. They just aren't a good team. Both Gay and DeRozan are playing great ball for Toronto, and as a team in regards to Atlanta, they just aren't very good. If they were truthfully trying to tank, they wouldn't have won their previous two ball games before this one. They've also lost to lots of awful teams this year ala Cleveland, Philly, Detroit, Minny, Cleveland (again), Washington, New Orleans, Phoenix, Philly (again) etc, etc.

Tonight is just another example of how their season has gone... Not a very good team to say the least.

True that. We gotta get past Boston first and foremost but would love to see D.Rose return while Miami gets hit with a tough as nails Chicago team

Bulls have to lose as well for the Hawks to go up to the 5 even if the Hawks beat us.

Right, a W against the Hawks forces them into 6th seed.... A loss to Hawks would mean the Bulls losing lands Hawks in the 5th seed, which we don't want give the chance of happening.

LMAO. Just went over to the Miami forums not to post (troll) but instead to just read and check the pulse of their fan base. And, they wanted a cakewalk into the Eastern Conference against the likes of Milwaukee and Brooklyn/Atlanta. They want NOTHING to do with the Bulls followed by Knicks during consecutive rounds (2nd/ECF). They are currently going APE **** over Atlanta falling to the 6th seed

I think best case scenario is the Bulls finish 6th and lose to Indy. Indy will be worn out, and I think what people are underrating here is Brooklyn's ability to give Miami a good series in round 2. Brook is not a good matchup for them and in general BK has been playing better lately than their overall record indicates.

But on the other hand I want no part of Chicago in the 2nd round.

^ yeah, hell no. Stick the Bulls on the Heat and keep them away from this team. Zero interest in having any chance of playing a team we've gone 0 and 4 against unless it's in the ECF. Nets would get run over by the Heat. More value in possibility of Hawks beating up on the Pacers and being able to waltz into ECF than Bulls wearing down the Pacers or Nets doing anything to the Heat.

Way too obvious.

Smith and Teague played less than 20 minutes, and I'm not even sure if Horford even suited up.
