What I got from this was, these Knick fans who go to the draft, NEED TO STOP BOOING THE PLAYERS WE DRAFT! Shumpert said the same thing a couple years ago after he got traded. After hearing the boos on draft day, he wasn't playing for the Knicks anymore. He was playing for himself and all those cheers he heard from the garden crowd didn't mean anything to him.

If we don't end up with the first pick and get Zion, these "Knick fans" at the draft will boo whoever the Knicks pick. These kids have been dreaming their whole life of getting drafted into the NBA, and their first impression is getting booed by the fans of the team they will play for. Insead,we should be cheering LOUDLY. So loud that that player, all the other rookies, all the team representatives, all the fans at the Barclays, and all the fans watching at home, hear our support for our future star. Kind of like when we drafted Tim Hardaway Jr.

Just as a general trade candidate for the NBA. LAC has reasons to move him now especially if they don’t want to overpay for him.

IE if BKN says we’re not getting Durant, would they trade for him now.

is he committing to the nets ? otherwise who would do that ?

it's not the same though. the sixers are already a contender, so he'll commit to them. if he was traded to the nets he wouldn't.

I don’t buy it. First, a dollar two years from now is not worth a dollar today. Not even close. Second, to predict how bad that team will be is VERY difficult. Third, Pat Riley always has something up his sleeve.

The Knicks pick this year is extremely valuable. Especially since the 5th worse record is so far away. Miami may be the 10th worst team and the pick may be the 13th pick. Not to mention, you have to wait 4-5 years for any return from the player. Basically, they’re saying that a potential late lottery pick that will contribute 6 years from now is more valuable than the Knicks 2019 pick... I don’t buy it.

We should just keep trading for guys who came in and played a good road game at MSG 24-48 hours before the trade. That seems to work.

also, you need a guard or wing who can create his own shot for himself with in the final moments of playoff games. in that respect, butler is their most important piece.

i don't think their starting 5 is perfect however. there's only 1 ball and lots of guys that want it and not enough 3 point shooting. butler and tobias can shoot but they just don't want to hang on the perimeter. what makes golden state such a good super team is that they don't need the ball as much. draymond doesn't. klay doesn't. even curry will just hoist them up a bunch without dribbling. the only one who really does is durant. cousins too now i guess.

You're not factoring in the $9 million we'll have to pay to whomever we draft.

Can the Clippers pull off AD and Kawhi?

We need this Lakers trade to go down. Otherwise, NO will wait to the summer, Kyrie and AD will get together and potentially orchestrate a trade to Boston. Then, Kawhi will go to LAC. KD won’t go to NY alone (esp after watching LeBron burn doing the same) and will probably go to LAC. They’ll then try to work out a sign and trade for McCollum and/or Beal.

I still don’t believe that they’ll give him the full Supermax. I could be completely wrong about that though.

NY will end up with Kemba and nothing else. They’ll probably trade for someone else like: McCollum or Beal... long story, short, it wouldn’t be good or sign Cousins to a 1 year huge deal.

If LAL get AD, LAC get Kawhi and Kemba, NY gets KD and Kyrie, Boston loses.

The big question to me is: Is Kawhi dead set on LA?

kemba is not turning down a supermax from charlotte. even if the knicks wanted to, how could he be on the table?

I still don’t believe that they’re going to sign him to the full supermax. I could be completely wrong about that though.

PHI is going to be able to put two or 3 of those guys on the floor for 48 minutes. That’s going to be huge for them.

There’s plenty of shots to go around. No reason all 4 don’t get at least 12-15 FGA. Their offense hopefully opens up more now and provides driving lanes.
