dude that is probably the first time i post something about mitch. and not 20 pages on each PG thread.

more people want to complain about rj. he played worse in this game. when mitch was coming back from injury the first couple months he got killed on here all the time.

the 3rd pick is not off limits. I am not happy about most of his games this season either.
the difference is, I am rooting for both.
and yes I know... it always comes to draft position. late first and second round picks are not supposed to be any good at any point of their career it seems. but the board is always screaming that they HAVE TO PLAY.

Wanting the youth to play might have to do with our desperation for hope - the unknown. Maybe Grimes can turn into h20 or klay or some sht like that.

And as much as I like to be right. I'd rather see us be contenders. So I'm rooting for rj, too - I'm just not as optimistic as some.

of course I want to play the youth as well. every single young player as much as possible. but when they do play I have to evaluate all of them at least kind of equal. I know the hopes are more on RJ because he was picked so high, but I can't **** on him and Randle each and every game where as Mitch not developing and IQ shooting 3 for 9 on most nights is "fine".

Let's keep it real - outside of that "lucky" shot rj had a horrendous game. At one point near the end of the game they switched Fournier on to Tatum cause rj was getting cooked. And he had missed one of his ft towards the end of the game, too.

The 2 assists in the final minute to Mitch on the alley and IQ for the floater wasn’t luck. Nor was getting fouled after driving (where he failed at most of the night).

He's a good listen after games.

You're just lucky you didn't catch Michael's (one of his more colorful callers...) rant about Randle last night...

I’m actually kinda kidding I like him and used to listen to every post game. But now just every now and then

I try to tune in to see Ash Nicole Moss from time to time too. :)

That’s a lot of clutch to pack into the final minute

some players are so damn sensitive. Randle has not performed up to expectations this season, Knicks were down by 25 last night....fans have the right to boo....esp. since Randle has often been lackadaisical on both ends of the floor this season w/ bad turnovers and poor effort defensively

Randle ain't built for the big stage...last year he put up #'s in an empty gym and come playoffs when the Garden was rocking, he sh*t the bed....he's been a disappointment all season, and now he's going at the fans

You know what I respected about Melo? through the ups and downs he stayed consistent and never showed the immaturity that Randle just did

The Knicks offense functions like an NBA offense when broken down Taj is in over Mitch.

The offense even looked decent when IQ was running PG and Taj was the C, because Taj knows what he is doing out there and also has at least a tiny bit of offensive gravity.

We had a great win last night and it was overshadowed by Randle telling fans to f*ck off

clearly all the bad press forced Julius to issue an apology

Randle hasn't even seen bad yet. he's been treated well by this fan base. for christ sake, he was getting MVP chants every time he went to the line last season....and now we're just 1 game under .500....what's his attitude gonna be like if they really start dropping games?

I mean unless RJ knew that IQ would have a driving lane all the way from the 3 point line I don’t think that play was heads up RJ and more like a smart play by IQ. The Mitch alley looked like a designed routine play and still for 42+ minutes of the game he was terrible. 13 points missed 11 shots shot 26% from the field.

he thinks a written apology is gonna stop the media.

before the next knicks game, he's going to have a mini presser where he'll publicly apologize and then get asked questions.

play stupid games, you win stupid prizes.

The mitch ally was nice - glad it only took him getting blocked 5x to finally feed mitch. And the fact he pulled out then went at timelord was the smart move. But he was bailed out on that foul because he picked up his dribble without making a solid move. And he only made 1 of his ft, too. But I don't want to nitpick too much.

Not the bad press. The front office and the league threat of major fines more likely. That's a very corporate response not the response of someone who is really sorry.
