I still believe this. I still like Cam. Thibs did him dirty cuz he never wanted him. Thibs got silent beef wit Aller and I think Cam caught the strays.
IDK how anyone can believe this. Did you see him suck at Duke? In Atlanta? In NY? But his hoopmixtape was good.

Depends on the respective franchises goals. Spurs still easily look like favorites again I like Denver’s squad alot though they have a good chance
Ok. 2nd best team in the league, no mention.
Just my Opinion. I think that luxury of being able to keep one of towns, kyrie or Beal on the floor at all times comes clutch come playoff time and he has some good role players sprinkled around. He’s going to be a matchup problem
There’s alot of capable teams yours included i just feel Denver has the highest chance.
Just know around 8 when bish sims the game after coach Balla puts your statement on the whiteboard Hezi might put you on the foes list.
I can keep one of Chris Paul, Harrell, and Allen on the floor check the per game averages it means more than KAT and Beal.

I'm directing the smoke at Hezi because I want Fat to sit Embiid when we play each other lmao.

I won’t speak for Duke and Atlanta. But when he played 25+ mins and took 10+ FGA in NY he was solid. Does he need more development? Sure, but that’s why you invest in your players and trade a 1st for them, right???
Some players need to get in a rhythm to perform well. Not everyone is plug and play on limited mins with maximum effectiveness and efficiency. Cam has upside so you want to let him play through mistakes and find his rhythm without having to constantly look over his shoulder.
To date, no NBA team has afforded him the same luxury of say, an RJ Barrett. Who is allowed to chuck, shoot on poor efficiency, play bad defense, and go through some historically bad shooting stretches without being held accountable. RJ also has worse shot selection than Cam as well. He just LOOKS like he plays harder so everyone gives him a pass. It’s not Cam fault he moves like a graceful gazelle.

Cam's the type who has too much confidence
He gets lazy, especially on defense, and with those guys, you need to keep them on a short leash in order to get them out of their bad habits. Benching entirely doesn't help, that's too far
But also, with Cam he's still super inconsistent in year 4. Yeah, RJ is too, but it's more like RJ goes through cold streaks but outside of them is generally consistent, while Cam is generally pretty bad but occasionally has a good game. He rarely was able to string together consecutive good games, and that's a problem this far into his career
Tons of potential, but 4 years in, you need to show more than flashes.

I like playing mind games
Also embiid and jrue are likely to sit rest of the season after the trade deadline, no point in risking a serious injury that might transfer over to next season.

I was one of the biggest Cam homers on the Hawksquawk board. He had some great flashes in Atlanta. Not just 1 or 2 games either. Monthly splits when he was the 2nd or 3rd best player on the team. Eventually I gave up on the Ray Allen, Reggie Miller, and Vince Carter comparisons. I started just hoping for a solid 3D player.
The solid 3D player promise is still there; but sooner than later these days, you have to put it on the player and not the coach.

I changed my defense from switch to straight. Hoping straight man keeps Brook in the game. Offense is staying the same. I like balanced with Trae at the point. Gets all my depth engaged.

Drummond doing exactly what I wanted him to do which was address my lack of rebounding, 10 boards against Adams and the Bulls last night, including 5 offensive rebounds, had 3 players in double digit rebounds with Collins sitting in the wings as an injury assurance.
After expectedly getting declined on a couple of deals, the Hornets are closing up shop and will role with this roster for the remainder of the year unless something comes up that addresses some point guard depth
