I ask this sincerely, but since I don't ever watch San Diego State, what is the difference between them mouthing off and chest bumping and the Knicks of the 90s?
There is a difference between big time pros, tough men doing it in an not so immature way as the Aztects did it today. Plus they were playing just plain and simple dumb. We are still talking about a team that is just a week removed from the first Tourney win in their history. And in the end, it cost them big time, two technicals fouls, one after just taking control of the game...
Hope is a good thing, maybe the best of things. And no good thing ever dies...

Sorry but nothing impressive about 32 points on 29 shots...
I would love to see Chandler Parsons in a Knicks uniform...

Thanks for the response, I didn't watch the entire game, only caught the end so I didn't know about the two techs at all.

No problem. Look, in general I think it is just normal for those kids getting excited, especially in such a big game. But when you dont back it up and hurt yourself doing it, then it just makes you look bad. I mean Leonhard, their most important player, gets his second foul by the way of a tech three minutes into the game and then just after they turned the game around James Franklin runs into Kemba Walker while going to his own bench during a timeout. Just stupid, stupid, stupid...

As would I. He's one of a few players that I want to get with multiple second round picks.
6'10, rebounds well, average defender, good shooter (besides free throws), and he is a great playmaker for the SF position.
I wasn't surprised by Florida being able to stop Jimmer...I had Florida beating BYU in all of my brackets. Florida flew under the radar the whole year...except for those that really watch the SEC (like myself lol).

The slept on Walker proves himself again. Lamb is just ridiculous, people need to give this Uconn team its props for once. Duke or Arizona, Uconn is a legit team, and Walker is for real.

What the second of the first comment?! And yeah, Izzo is the man...
Parsons is just one of those guys who does everything well and the Knicks need that. No more players who either cant shoot, cant dribble, cant defend or cant pass. Like Fields, such a player will almost never hurt you on the court no matter if he is scoring or not. You really cant find a major weakness in his game and when you are 6-10 and a more than solid athlete, then this bodes well for your NBA future. Needs to get a bit stronger but that will come.

Gotta give it up for Calhoun too, terrific coach if we ignore the recruiting violations. Oriakhi deserves a lot of praise too.

Draft Parsons with our first rounder?

lol those recruiting violations are weak. phone calls, text messages and basketball tickets? Most teams get away with alot more than that. And its not like he even got the big recruits. Smith was our biggest recruit. Lamb, napier, Giffey, Olander, and enosh wolf were left over recruits to most uconn fans. They're good after all, but mostly due to Calhouns coaching skills. So yea definetly gotta give Calhoun his props, he constantly takes so so talent and makes them into serious players.

I tell you, even though he doesnt fit a huge need, at 6-10 and with his skillset, he looks like damn solid value to me outside of the lottery...

Not a huge fan of parsons. He seems to me like a worse version of Gallo, but we need to stop drafting guys who can't guard their position.

The stat they put up last week said it all, 23 NBA players and has only signed 7 McDonalds All Americans his entire career. UNC and Duke have had that on their rosters over the course of one year. Lol @ being a cheater signing 3 & 4 star recruits for alot of his career. The guy has a great eye for talent and is a great developer, just look at Lamb for instance, he was a fringe top 75 recruit.

I can see it maybe...it depends on who else is still on the board at the time.
I would love to get a Morris brother preferably because we really need more post players...and our team desperately needs a post-up player. If D'Antoni gets canned I think Markeif would be a solid contributer off the bench or so. I'm not sure if they'd last to 17, though.
I'm a little iffy on taking a PG...
If we buy a second rounder though I wouldn't Marshon Brooks if he is in that area come draft time.
