Looks like Frank added a hop to his catch and shoot
This tends to work well with most players

Re: Official Frank Ntilikina Thread
I’m sure it’s been said before but I was thinking of Boris Diaw today and I remembered how he struggled his first 2 years (he had a decent FG% - much better than Frank’s but not good in anything else) and then he got traded and instantly became a key rotation piece.
I’ve criticized Frank and also defended him when needed but I’m not a diehard Frank guy. I just want to give him one more shot this season to prove he’s got something or if he’s just another Rodrigue Beaubois. He needs to take a massive step this year - and early on - or else we should trade him at the deadline.

you know what i noticed different from last year? it seemed like the guy training him made him pound the crap out of the ball when dribbling, now it seems that he is smoother with the ball.

He’s been working with multiple trainers, not sure if it’s a good or bad thing. But I think perfected the 3 point shot and 16ft to 18ft shot is what he needs. But also think he should work on his explosiveness and finishing at the baskets.

I still love Frank. He just needs to grow some balls and get that 3 ball down. Hoping Frank breaks out next year.

Frank is coming back a monster y'all. He looks to have a big chip on his shoulder with everyone talking bad about him and writing him off. Everything from him has been all business this off season.

Re: Official Frank Ntilikina Thread
What's his position this coming season? Is he behind RJ, Ellington, DSJ, Trier and Dotson?

Props to Turbo_Zone for the sig.

Honestly don't know. I don't see him playing 5 MPG unless somebody gets injured.

Re: Official Frank Ntilikina Thread
Who knows what team options they take next season, but I'm confident that they won't take Frank's.
I still believe in him, and wish he had a legitimate shot to play year 3. But there's too much competition for minutes. And he already has an image as a bust around the league. I think Fiz doesn't like him. And I think Pills is ready to rid themselves of the last Phil stain.

Re: Official Frank Ntilikina Thread
Although he has skipped the summer league (rightfully so), he still got a FIBA world cup to impress Fizdale the coach.
I hope he got a fair chance to play and get into the rotation.

Fair chance in France or NY?
France is in a weak group, I am sure that he will get minutes and will benefit from playing next to vets like Huertel, De Colo, Batum. It will help him more than the SL.
Unfortunately, even if he impresses there and shows some improvement on offence, I am still unsure that Fiz and FO will give him a decent chance.

Re: Official Frank Ntilikina Thread
He clearly has the innate talent / physical tools to be a solid combo guard on offense (we already know he can defend).
His struggles seem almost 100% mental, like he never really left the Euro system / mentality behind.
The NBA rewards alpha personalities/scorers. Even role players need to demand their touches/shots.

He plays like he doesn't want to step on any toes when it comes to his teammates.

His new agent got rid of Chris Brickley with the quickness.

Frank can't legally buy a beer in this country.
