They desperately need to pump in some grows noise and music during these games. This is going to take some getting used to.

The best part is when you can hear the rustling of the Miami announcer's jacket, it's so quiet.

They've done a surprisingly good job of suppressing the audible cursing though.

They probably will for the real games that count, these are just scrimmages

You haven’t heard either way?

Baseball is doing it now. Why not do it in these few preseason games to work out the kinks. Things happen much faster in basketball than baseball.

LOL, maybe it’ll be more entertaining with them screwing it up!

The Nets didn't look so cool tonight.

Has there been a date discussed for the 20-21 season yet? Or a summer league situation for the rest of the teams who didn't go to the bubble?

It seems like they’re just turning off all court noise altogether.

Nah I could be wrong. I hope they do though, nobody wants to hear an empty room. in the epl they didn't pipe in the noises they just played them over the broadcast. maybe they should try that

They do need to pump in some background noise. Defense chants. Music. Since there are no home teams...they can cheer/chant for both sides. It is gonna be weird either way but the G League/Summer League vibe does not work. So boring.

Well said. Some audio of some type even artificial would be better. Otherwise it feels too much like the game is besides the point. Like the annoying sideline reports that you can’t wait to be over.

They could even experiment with the weird Fox Sports sound effects like for the NFL. Noises when people step out of bounds and such.

Right! If we could he hear the players and the refs talking on the court that would add a new dimension. Kinda like with the UFC where we can hear the fighters trash talking each other and their corners shouting out instructions.

They said December 1st, but that could change, because these things are not written in stone.
I will only cherish the wins and ignore everything else, because that's the only way to survive as a Knicks fan.

The virus will will be raging by the fall. I’ve heard talk about the NFL cancelling the season. Unless we make some drastic changes, it looks to me like everything is up in the air. Baseball, golf, tennis, MMA look to be okay but close contact sports are a problem.

They also said if they have to use the bubble for next season, they would rotate 20 teams.

What the NBA needed was the New York team involved which would add a lot of excitement among we large (really huge) base of starving Knicks fans, with Mitch flying around the gym noiselessly defying gravity like the restart is taking place in an orbital sphere. Bad shooting self in foot by the NBA.
