Jazz did it w/ Trey Lyles + #24 for #13 (Donovan Mitchell), let's cut bait w/ Obi before his value is completely deteriorated. he's legit one of the worst picks I've seen

Very true. Draft night is the time to strike. After the draft he’s turning 30 and will lose all value

He doesn’t do anything else other than score but we’re so desperate for shotmakers that I think he makes a ton of sense for us.

I don't think there's many Knicks fans that wouldn't be all in with trading Obi ASAP, even the one's that were all in with us drafting him before we actually took him and after, my worry is if L.Rose and whichever other coaches/front office people can admit their mistake after showing how much of a fan he/they were and even confirming that he/they were willing to trade up in the draft to get him. I think they could use the fact that he's stuck behind Randle, which he is, and hasn't gotten a real chance yet to show how good he can be because of that as a reason to hold onto him and not have to admit he was a bad draft pick.

I’d take davion mitchell over him. Cam is to one dimensional and not efficient at all.

I don't see how Obi's role changes next year. as long as Randle is here (who I'm now a fan of since he's become a sniper) Obi has little-to-no role here, which will further diminish his value

maybe it's because both are named Mitchell and wear #45 but Davion Mitchell actually reminds me of a less athletic Donovan Mitchell

both are combo 1/2's, can handle (both utilize the hang dribble), shoot off the dribble, and defend at a high level

Terrible game by Moody. Just a bad bad shooting night.

The answer probably isn't trading Obi. Although it does look like a bust (lets be real, he's had less success than Knox did his rookie year), the real answer has probably always been to trade both our #1s to move up as far as possible.

with Mitch going down with another injury, I would take a deep look at Charles Bassey. Super mobile big man that can protect the rim and guard the perimeter. Elite rebounder. He also can hit jumpers. 6’10 with a 7’3 wingspan.

this guy has been floating around in the 2nd round on tankathon for 3 years now, not sure why he hasn't been able to enter the draft or raise his stock at all even in year 3. they have him on there at 53 now. will he even stay in the draft?

He got injured last year I believe. He’s healthy now.
Tankathon is ran by some random basketball fan. They’re always way off. DX has Bassey as the 25th best prospect in this draft

Rose doesn't seem like a guy that would draft Euro's but DX has him as their 2nd rated big man and I wouldn't be shocked if we look at bigs this draft with Mitch being injured and needing a contract this summer. He's got some serious sweet post moves and isn't a bad passer either.
