If I'm the Knicks I just get in there to drive up the price.....and not much more.
What would be funny is if you get in there to drove up the price and they ACCEPT your offer.

Honestly best case scenario for us is that he goes nowhere
my feeling is that he isn't going anywhere until the summer. we're not players until then anyway.

That gives Boston a chance tho. Which then means Kyrie could possibly stay.
works for me.
we trade for AD, then we've emptied the cupboard to rent him on a worse team than he's leaving. only hoping a max cat joins him.
i'd rather wait or pass altogether.
but i also am not super high on kyrie.

Agreed I’m not tryna lose the whole roster and all flexibility for AD. I know he’s great but we are finally in a good position.

Kyrie is a killer that would have the Garden jumping. Stop it lol. Plus he’s the youngest of the bunch. Imagine he’s still getting better. 50 40 90 ain’t nun to play with.

And smog.... Don't forget smog.newyorker4ever wrote:Besart19 wrote:Clippers now have plenty of picks and cap space
Plus they have still Bradley, Beverley, Lou and Gallo for who you can snap a pick for each of them
Jerry West always wins and finds a way to come out on top. If he wants a certain two players and to make a trade for AD then that will most likely happen cause all these players want to play in LA. Kawhi has said it and AD has said it and they didn't just say the Lakers and specifically have said the Clippers as well as the Lakers and players still want to play for Doc and one of the best things LA has over NY is the weather and how all these players live there in the offseason.

vegas odds
i feel similarly about the bucks. i don't care what their record is, i don't see them beating philly or the raptors. boston still at the top though. i don't know about that. i think they're out in the 2nd round.

the clippers are likely to get kwahi and the knicks are likely to get durant.....supposedly. there's really no rumor of either guy going to the other place.
so.....as far as ad it's about who can trade for him. and as far as kyrie it's about personal relationships. does kwahi have personal relationships ? lol

hellz no. Booing the picks has been a tradition for every pick post Ewing. GTFO with these soft, bitchmade draftees who can't handle THAT.
Only FOOLS and Talking Media Heads think the MSG crowd on draft day is indicative of ALL Knicks fans. They don't even represent the majority of us.
So, we want the BEST talent available, but we also want them to INSTANTLY fit into our way of thinking and just take it or else be called "bitchmade???" Hmmm. Just look back over the years at all the FA's who could have won us a title by now, but said they'd NEVER come to NY just because of this kind of attitude, and you'll see the problem with this statement.
There's a reason we give a carefully crafted and positive "presentation" when we're trying to attract FA's. Why shouldn't that also apply to draftees we're trying to build a longterm relationship with?
because no one can control the actions of idiot fans. that's like reading the comments section and catching feelings. it's not real.
I fully agree. No, it's not logical for anyone to catch feelings over opinions no one can control. Except, not everybody is logical. Just food for thought.

sure, let me rephrase.
there are players higher on my wish list than kyrie. even though KD is old, he's KD. and kawhi over kyrie all day.
now, if kyrie were the only one trying to come over, i def pass.

he has one with uncle dennis.
and i guess you're saying get AD, then get KD or kyrie instead of possibly getting none of the above?

Impo that would be the worst case scenario for us, Boston would then oust us and then our FA chances are going to take a hard hit
