Randle needs the ball to be effective
Fournier needs the ball some, to be effective
Kemba needs the ball to be effective
Rose, same
RJ, see above
Burks kind of plays that way
Now here's Cam
What could go wrong?
Randle - As a PF its just modern basketball and takes pressue off the wings and pointguard if executed properly. The PF can be a #1a ballhandler in the new 3 point chuck league, drive and kick etc and pulls the defending big out. Here its just the cost of business.
Fournier- Granted he needs the ball some, A bit of a point forward without play making skills. but he needs it to at least stay in rhythm and get some drives,
Kemba- probably on the outs roster wise with the emergence of Rj flourishing being more on the ball.
Rose- Backup pointguard .
Burks- is a defacto point guard but miserable results he is back OFF the ball while RJ is the main perimeter option.
Cam- Envision him playing SG where secondary ballhandling comes with the job. backup sf minutes where we accommodate point forward play. The hawks were stacked with wings who werent not necesarilly better. You see them losing and starting huerter, bogs, and hunter and cam averages 18.4 as a starter. If he plays defense all the more better. He can defend maybe 3 positions? If he can defend pointguards, then watch out.
