Lamelo and Brunson would be Soooooooooooo Much better!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Lamelo Ball Folksssssss LAMELO BALL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Haliburton has been better over that same stretch, LaMelo is doing an old Harden impersonation, you can't convince me a guy taking 25 shots a game and then getting that many assists is good for a offense in the long run, it's complete ball domination by 1 guy.

He had 43/12 in that game to LaMelo 11/11 on 4 for 15

The Hornets will most likely be in the lottery again while Pacers will make the playoffs with a team no more talented than the Hornets and one of the most potent offenses in NBA history cause everybody actually touches the ball when Haliburton plays.

Just waiting to trade for Frank.

I'd love to see Frank turn it around somehow. He keeps getting injured. This time it was a leg fracture.

The league thinks Brunson Stink’s!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We are down bad Folksssssss!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This is such a horse sh*t take. Sturm is a Nets homer so take that for what you will.

But yeah, let's just ignore how Jaren Jackson Jr. got beat like a drum by opposing bigs, and Ant-Man shooting Team USA out of games and blame Brunson. I know a certain SF that missed a wide open corner 3 during the tournament that sunk us, and what team he plays for (and is currently sucking ass btw), but Sturm doesn't want to talk about that.

Also super weird since they played almost equal minutes and put up similar stats. Brunson scored a bit more and Haliburton racked up more assists. Brunson also outplayed Haliburton vs. Germany and Canada.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/international/teams/united-states/2023.html

As you say, it's just a hater take.

It's also just lazy analysis. There were several reasons why Team USA lost. Lack of size was a way bigger issue than guard play. Kerr's scheme and coaching also left a lot to be desired.

But yeah, hater take. Some folks are mad that they bought the "good vibes only" horse sh*t that Nets management has been pushing, only to realize that all those good vibes are about to gift the Rockets a lottery pick, so they're lashing out any way that they can.

Dallas Mavericks star Kyrie Irving sparked controversy after showing up to Saturday’s postgame press conference wearing a Palestinian keffiyeh.

The Mavericks star, who claimed to be a “committed” Muslim in 2021, wore the black and white checkered headgear despite having no cultural connection to the Palestinians as he spoke about the game.

Irving did not make any verbal statements about the garment, offer any reasons for wearing it, or speak to any political situations around the world.

...
Irving, of course, was suspended in November of 2022 for refusing to disavow the antisemitic tweets he had made in the months before his suspension, including his support for the notoriously antisemitic group the Black Israelites.

Kyrie just sticking to basketball, once again.

See, he's not helping. There are people with platforms being canceled/losing jobs for being outspoken about the massacre happening in Gaza, and are wrongly being called antisemitic for it. But Kyrie? He has no credibility here because he's an unapologetic antisemitic conspiracy theorist.

Dudes who think that Hitler loved Black people may wanna sit this one out, and Breitbart can stop pretending that they're offended by this when they pump antisemitic propaganda to their readers ad nauseum.

I'm not sharing the tweet that outs him because this involves a minor, but uh, yeah. He definitely is.

The age of consent laws in Oklahoma will probably save his ass from any legal jeopardy though, and I'm not kidding.

Edit: and so i decided to see what the General Board had to say about this and as you can imagine...jesus christ.

out of curiosity I looked up the laws in Melbourne where he is from and it’s the same as Oklahoma so he probably figures he’s not breaking any law so why does anybody care

She's allegedly a junior in HS, so probably anywhere between 15-16 i think

And yeah it is. She's a child. Dudes want to play semantics games over what pedophilia is, but let's be real if you're over 21 and you're actively pursuing/**** 15 year old girls, you are a predator.
